To qualify as a delegate to a national convention, you must have held or still hold an elective office in the party, a position not lower than a member of the house of Rep or it equivalent.
Appointed ministers, previous or present, are also allowed in some parties.

By the grace of God,it have been running peacefully and smoothly.My prayer is that whoever emerges as the flag bearer,would move higher to make Nigeria better again and correct the mistakes made in the past. Nigeria doesn't deserve buhari at all.

The major surprise imo is the organisation and orderliness of this convention.
