If a Nigerian(who lives in the US) or American republican argues with you, you would disagree but if they said that they are more "authorised" than you are on this issue because they live in America, would you think they have a point?
Imagine if an American or Nigerian(who lives in the US) republican was arguing with a Nigerian who shares your view but haven't left the shores of Nigeria once in his/her life and the republican started implying that the Nigerian should listen to him because he stays in America and has been there for a long time, what would you say? Do you think that the fact that the republican stays America makes his view right? You can see how silly your "I have stayed in America for long time" talk is and how staying in America for a long time doesn't insulate you from being brainwashed as you are now.
