She’s British. If she prepared a divorce, there are certain terms that the divorce courts will make both parties sign. One is access to their kids.
Renege on it and the British legal system will show you why it is one of the best in the world. Pastor Chris is not stupid.

I really applaud this Nathaniel Bassey man. Anyone who want to know about Pastor Chris and his wife should ask himself "why do I want to know about them"? Even Moses had issues with Zipporah. If you observe anomaly in a pastor's life, pray for them. Simple!

Well, Nathaniel Bassey had this reply for the fan.

It would be recalled that in 2015, Anita involved in a messy break up with her husband, Chris, after she claimed he was involved in illicit affairs with female members of the church.

She said she tolerated abuse for so long and subsequently, the ministry pulled down her profile from the church website, a development that showed all was not well with the family.

She had confirmed she was no longer a part of, or involved in, Christ Embassy, also known as, Believers LoveWorld INC.

Anita, however, officially filed for divorce at Central Family Court, High Holborn, London, UK, citing her husband’s “unreasonable behaviour” and inappropriate relationships with members of staff, an intonation of “adultery” as her reason.

I remember a post by Anita when the issue was all over the internet. She reverted to her maiden name and explicitly stated she would have nothing to do with BLW anymore. I think she is a woman with a strong resolve and is simply keeping to her word, daughter or not. It might sound stupid to many who have no principles or who make judgements based on emotions but to the illuminated,words are bonds.

The children in question are adults, and I'm sure they were adults before their parent's divorce.
The law has no business regarding access to children who are of age in a divorce. They either want to see their parents or not. It's their choice to make as adults.
The mum might have being against having the wedding in the husband's church, so she won't have to face all the stares and wareva. But then again, how can the husband allow his daughter marry in another church other than his own, especially when he would be financing the wedding.
Shame really, as its not nice missing the first wedding ever in your family.
Anyway, na their family problem be dat.

When the child turn 18 it invalidates all parental rights clause. Look it up. The court can't choose or make decisions concerning an adult except he/she has a medical or psychological problem.

Your child wedding isn't suppose to be a reconciliation ground, they can go through the day without stepping on each other's toe.

Very surprising that Anita was absent. You wonder what Christian example they set for their followers.

Its so pathetic. Since the divorce, they shared their daughters. Sharon who was in London with her mum came down to Lagos to stay with Chris, while the junior one remained in London with Anita. I wonder the kind of division that will make one half of a family boycott important functions of the other part.
With this, i won't be surprised if Pastor Chris won't attend his last daughters wedding. Or rather, she may not invite him even if he wants to be there.

I remember when this lady used to be celebrated and idolized by CE members now she's the devil sent to bring their "man of god" down. There's no way Anita would miss her FIRST CHILD'S wedding by choice something must've happened and am sure even if she comes to say her part of the story she would still be antagonized.

Anita is human stop defaming her and calling her names because she doesn't have the immunity of the "anointed" anymore. She went through a whole lot in that marriage and those that know her can testify, it's not her fault that she fathered kids with a vindictive man.

what if the woman is the one at fault and she is kind of like ashamed knowing fully well that all the elders in the church including pastor Christ's family knows the truth.

This might be the reason why she could not bear been in the presence of those that knows the truth.
Those she is hiding away from might have forgiven her but she still can't forgive herself.
I might be wrong though but it's just common sense to think this is what is happening if you are really good in articulative reasoning and research.

Not possible Ma. She stayed away off her own accord and I suspect to avoid distractions on her daughters day so that the girls event wont be overshadowed by questions surrounding the divorce especially from those that haven't seen her in ages that will question her
