vastolord4:There love football but how many of them are playing outside? We nigerian we just love celebrating mediocre. Money wey him suppose use do road provide portable water build standard school and hospital, but he prefer to build stadium. He didn't even create anything thing like job. At the end of the day the young people u claim u are building this for will all go to lagos and hustle. |

No offence but why 17000. Thats if I even support building a new stadium. This is such a waste of money. Why not make it 60k or higher real ultra modern standard stadium and not this school pitches they call stadium. |

Jamestown123:Badbelle person.5yrs ago Akwa ibom had no standard stadium yet we produced great footballers and athletes, now that we , by gods grace have good sporting complex the sky will be our limit. Our primary and secondary school kids have started competition in our new iconic stadiums tell me why they wont be great. |

mexzony:This is a regional stadium to serve Eket senatorial district. That capacity is adequate. FYI all the stadiums built in Akwa ibom are built with rooms for future expansion when the need arises. Akwa ibom already owns the best stadium in Nigeria if not West Africa. The iconic 30,000 capacity Nest of champions Uyo |

lonelydora:we must ensure the right people get in not just make sure the wrong people get out going by ur plan we'll just keep recycling the same people and it seems that's what Nigeria is doing everyone hated PDP then Apc came along , everyone loved them ,now everyone hates apc and seems like PDP is an angelic party, but knowing that it's the same corrupt gays pein the party as usual it's only a matter of time till we hate PDP too so would we then go back to apc? the sooner Nigeria realises that we need some new politics the better for us |

To host carnivals, both national and international sporting competitions and its also a start to unmaking South Africa the only country in Africa that can host a World Cup competitios cos of modern stadiums. All these will definitely bring tourists to the states, tourist who will spend money.Sports can be a very big source of revenue for the government.Except you have this ancient nigerian mentality that revenue can only come from oil...is your question answered? Udom is working, this is a good development, Akwaibom is fortunate, What da fuvk!.... The state is languishing in poverty, unemployed youths are roaming the streets and all a Governor could think of is building a stadium, For what?, What happened to the Uyo stadium, isn't that enough for a state?. When will they leave unnecessary things for things that are needed?.. I just tire for this country |

Niger Delta states are honestly useless. All that money through derivation that can be channeled into impactful, transformative capital projects and they either squander it on banalities or simply share it among cronies. Akwa Ibom are even the best case. Delta state and Bayelsa are cursed with evil leaders. |

Nobodys:You never see something. By the end pf the year 8 more mini sports centres will be open in secondary schools in the state . By then you will not be able to take it anylonger. Jealousy and badbelle will kill you. In your little world building od stadiums causes poverty and unemployment. Oga you win. Governor udom has built 12 new industries in 3.5yrs how many has your governor built? Even buhari has not even matched that record. |

Obi1kenobi:Niger delta state are usless? Stop smoking that bad weed. Without Niger delta states there will be no Nigeria. Niger delta feeds everyone in Nigeria. You should be waking up every morning with prayer of thaks to Niger delta states for feeding you. Without them you life will be worse and miserable than it is at the moment. |

Atouke:I'm talking about their use of their massive allocations and you're rambling something different. And no, you're not feeding anyone. Having oil buried beneath your soil is sheer dumb luck of nature. You didn't put crude oil there. And funny enough, the discovery of oil in the Niger Delta is what cursed Nigeria to remain a backward, unproductive state. |

Jeezuzpick:You're very objective in reasoning. The system is too bad that we congratulate politicians for performing there constitutional duties. I'll build road and bridges is no longer manifestos in progressive societies. Reduction of interest rates and increasing of minimum wage is taboo to them. Let's hope for the best |
