@miss xpressive, may b ur jamb score was very high, scoring high in jamb give added advantage plus the indigene and catchment stuff

like in my case, i scored 260 in jamb, my post ume score was 52 then they diveded my jamb to stretch my score to 59 .

plz, does anybody have idea the precise time that they will call for clearance?

There was half sarcasm in my post cos you can never tell what Uniben does. Both or you are from the catchment area with the same score yet no admission for her, thats Uniben.
Lezybrown are you sure because how can they add just 7 to your Screening score when you got 260 in jamb. I got 42 screening score, 252 in jamb and they added 11 to my screening score.

i tot i did justice to the grading stuff sometime ago. but notwitstanding i will explain again, your jamb is divided by 8 to equal it over 50 and the post utme is divided by 2 to give an aggregate of 85 which means ur aggregate is not over 100. since we have 70 question in the post utme exam. with this u should know that scoring an aggregate of 50 and above is no childs play and uniben being a federal university has its own formula for admitting students i.e some1 with 50 from a particular state might be prefered over another with even a higher mark becos of some formula. this is super stori sha all we should do is to tank god for counting us among the lucky ones.chaoo

guys na true ooh ,we should realy thank GOD that we were chosen ooh,if not we 4 stil dey talk of 2011/2012 jamb ooh so time no realy mater now ,we fit wait all that maters now is that we are in no shakings ,so when people dey shout great uniben we go follow shout great too ooh, men d thing no easy oooh.

You people are really trying, I scored 53 but was given english,instead of law. But now am in igbinedion studying law,nd we will be writing first semester exams by january. I can still come to uniben if I want,but its just too slow,and I kinda hate the skul coz its a political game. Someone I know that scored 48 was given law. I can't waste my talent,so am rocking law over here. Cheers.

@wackyj1,i have been seeking admission in the university of benin for 5years now,its no childs play and u no dat i know vividly well how unibens admission status is organised and done,moreover i grew up thre.if u score an average of 50 just be sure u are going 2 b admitted maybe not the cos u put in for but maybe a cos from ur faculty.
like in the case of hers,since she is from delta state which is among the cacthment area she is supposed to be given a cos but i am surprised she wasnt admitted this is unlike the uniben i know.
@esusu/ikechukwu yes we really need 2 thank god for the admission but we should be concious of the fact that they are so many people who wre not admitted that scored invarably goodmarks that need more and more info about the named school i belive thats a reason why the thread was created all the same thanks 2 u all for ur concern

ur affidavit(s) cn be done in any damn court in 9ja whether benin or no benin.
U dnt need t com to benin 4ur pre-clearance, I did it @ home in my time and w/o any guidance cos its straight 4wd.
U cn switch to anoda dept. Afta yr1 bt nt within d same faculty and u lose a year if ur transfer is succesful.

Hello Ikechukwu09,Wackjj,Afegbua nd other.Have been following ur thread since Uniben released admission list on Sept nd I jxt reg on nl.I gt admitted 2 MASS COMM dept nd I want 2 know if there's any1 in same dept.This is my 1st time of sitting for Uni JAMB although I had tried poly jamb last yr bt Auchi poly didn't admit me even when I scored 211 in jamb and there was no exam we only had screening.Got 263 in jamb and 40 in p/utme making agg of 53 nd was admitted.I'm happy 2 be among d choosen 1nes because it was very frustrating losing one yr nd but I told myself dat d devil must pay bk what he's taken in double fold.From poly 2 uni!I thk GOD ALMIGHTY!Any news yet ,cos can't get to b called GREAT UNIBEN STUDENT!Cheers!!!

something like that mikoli. since the board will be releasing timetable very soon,there has been rumours all around abt the exam to commence in december. more so, nuga games has been postponed thereby creating room for everone to believe this rumour.

Thats why they said ignorance is bliss, i was unfortunate to come upon an anti-cult book that listed at least 7 cults in Uniben, even if the book is outdated, there must still be at least 5. But with God we shall survive

I went to their site sometime ago and saw the calender, it said 3rd - 23rd was Second semester exams and 5th was resumption. If the rumour is true does it mean we'll reesume earlier? And if so aroung which time?
