joo2018:I don't get this....CIC's website says "The applicant does not need to demonstrate that they meet the “employment requirements” listed in the NOC occupational description". My point is that one can claim points for any work experience gained while studying for the FSW program. I will explain with an example. Example: Mr A finished his OND program in 2013. Thereafter, he gained admission to a university via direct entry to study Anthropology. He got a teaching job when he was in school which he did while studying and later graduated. He read about FSW program while surfing the internet. However, Mr A is not sure if can use the work experience he gained when he was in the university to claim points. The answer to this is that Mr A can claim points for the work experience. Note: For the question "Date XYZ first became qualified to practice in this occupation " Mr A will use the date written on his OND certificate and not the one written on his BSc certificate. |

Hello House, pls I have a question. I was going through the NOC job codes as I await ECA verification. I see that my current role is classified as a C even though my previous roles are with A or B. My question is, will the “C” disqualify me from applying via express entry? What are my other options? Your candid opinions will be appreciated |

I got 8.5,9,6.5,8.5 in LRWS IELTS(MOD) 1st attempt, didn't bother to remark. Now 2nd attempt released today, my LRWS score is 8.5,9,7,7.(MOD) With the new IELTS score, my CRS is 431. If I could max out the IELTS score to 8.5,9,7.5,8, my CRS would shoot to 437 which I believe will increase my chances if cut-off drops. I'm thinking of applying for a remark to max out my IELTS/CRS scores.I actually feel my score in writing and speaking should have been higher. Please, is this plan advisable, achievable? |

abbey4christ:Biometrics details will show; biometric number, date you did it and expiry date. Also, on the status list, biometrics will change to completed. Some people get the details uploaded without the status changing to completed immediately though. |

doreto:Go for an additional certificate perhaps a 9months PGD to boost your score or try the TEF route. Scores are likely to remain high all year round. |

Good morning house, pls anyone with an idea of where IDP and BC exam centre is in Enugu! |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by Sthill5: 8:16am On Oct 13, 2018 |
mumsjoy:IDP currently do not have a center in Enugu. Only Lagos. Abuja and PH. BC does but I think you are advised on the venue and probably not a specific place. You should call the british council office on Monday to confirm. Hope this helps |

What if Mr A has a different date on his certificate but has been qualified to take up the role after completion of his studies. What I mean by a different date is like a future date. GlitteringStar: |

. As globally advised, spend 20 mins on Task 1, and 40 mins on Task 2 (you know Task 2 carries twice the weight). For each Task, quickly plan before you start writing.
