Right now in Buhari cabinet, SS has Ameachi, Audu Ogbe, CBN govern holding key position..that's was not the case with SW under GEJ...so, I won't support SW going back to that era under Atiku/Obi/Secondus

this road construction would be better appreciated and impact lives of many had it been done in a state with dire need for just an ok. motorable road .fashola the tribalist!

Come to Isawo road, agric Ikorodu and see what people go through, no thanks to the greedy Tinubu who feels he can punish the masses because Ambode denied him embezzlement. Telling Lasg staff to lie against Ambode on salary will not help them because their case will be worse than that of the great man, Gaddafi and the Libya people of today. Most places are rubbbish in Lagos, they need to level the city and start building it from the scratch. It is one of the worst cities in the world.

That's my problem with ambode.

If you ask me, this project is more important than the badagry one in the short and long term. For most people entering Nigeria, this is the first point of entry to the country and I always wondered why it looked so decrepit. By the way, both Fashola and Tinubu requested to execute this project but the Federal Government (who the road belongs to) refused (party differences). The Badagry project, while important, is lower on the scale of preference. This makes economic and logical sense.

The Federal government under Buhari finally gave the Lagos state government permission to fix the road after the PDP led federal government refused twice.

I pass that road everyday to work going to Ikeja. I am happy about the construction going on there.

I dunno why federal roads in Lagos are taking eternity to construct. Example Badagry expressway and abeokuta expressway

Cos FEC has to sit & jaw jaw on it for months...
In saner climes, road construction is broken down to districts to manage, that way the bottleneck of approval/control is effectively managed...

Party politics is why the road also took forever.
