The momentum generated by the the peoples Democratic party flag bearer for the 2019 presidential election Alhaji Atiku Abubakar continued today as Nigerians in their thousands from all ethnicity and religion followed Peter Obi on Twitter.

As at the time of opening this thread the soon to be unveiled "vice presidential nominee" had garnered over 14.3k followers few hours after joining the social media platform .

In his first tweet Obi wrote :

I want to thank Waziri Adamawa, Alhaji @atiku, for choosing me as his running mate. This is a privilege I will not take lightly. We will work closely together to boost the economy and provide Jobs. Our administration will be far away from anything called "lifeless".

The emergence of Atiku as Presidential aspirant has generated a lot of excitement among Nigerians and the addition of Obi to the ticket sent many into a frenzy on friday as hope of that the economy will be revived was rekindled.
