Firstly, let us start by thanking God for Oyedepo...

But understand that when you stand in judgement on that day to account for your life, Oyedepo will not be there.
He too will be standing in judgment to account for his own life.
He is a man just like you.
Not every thing he does is from God, just like not everything you do is from God.
God has given you a mind to think for yourself, and if you are afraid to think for yourself, ask God for wisdom and understanding.

This week we saw Oyedepo do something contrary to his previous proclamations (no doubt under the influence of Obasanjo) by supporting a peculiar gathering....
Either way you inspect, It shows one thing. Not everything he says/does is from God. Sometimes it could be from Obasanjo...and possibly in the future Atiku....and that's okay.
Again, he is a human.

You do not have to support what he supports.
God gave you your own brain to reason with. As you grow in this ability to reason by yourself , you will then notice this innate ability to reason outside the spectrum of religious godfatherism and bias.

THAT is the point where God can actually reveal things to you, because if he did earlier, you would reject it because of your "that's not what Oyedepo says/did" programming which is sadly where a lot of us are at right now in Nigeria. God is telling you that this is a form of slavery and it is what Jesus meant when he said not to "Call any man Father as you only have one". Old greek is hard to translate, but this is the clear scenario depicting that scripture.

In these end times, Godfatherism is a dangerous thing to be enslaved to.

Politically speaking, Nigeria is in a very peculiar place we haven't been in for decades.
For once in a long time, we have candidates detached from the usual cabals who see the constant degradation of Nigeria as "business as usual". Detached from the people who mortgaged the destiny of you and your children for their own personal gain.
Detached from the cult of people who feel a well known fraudster is their best face for their already well-known ungodly party.

I strongly urge you to think for yourself on this matter and not throw away the only power you have on this issue to base religious godfatherism.
That power, is your vote.

You deserve better than the going back to PDP or APC.
The special interest groups have not changed, neither have their attitude and commitment to integrity. see http://www.nigeriavillagesquare.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=9279&catid=3&Itemid=212&allposts=1 for the criminal activity Atiku got into, and yet has chosen to ignore. This is the same attitude your current president has who has been ignoring your killings all throughout the 4 years.

I beg you Nigerians to vote for a new Nigeria. YES it CAN happen, if you vote for it.
I am sorry that your current leaders have made it seem that your vote is useless...
I am sorry that they destroyed your self-esteem.
I opened this thread to tell you that Your vote is not useless. Your vote is not pointless. Vote for Sowore/AAC and see this nation break away from the current slavery and head into a future you and your children can finally be proud of for real.

Thanks for reading.

I don't know why some Nigerians just lack sense. Why is it that Nigerians think they can tell people who are supposed adults what or what not to do? Why don't you know how to mind your business other than imposing your thoughts on others?

It is ok to disagree with a Man of God.

But all such shall surely die.

It is a choice.

It is well.

First ask yourself if is ok, to speak against cold-blooded killings going on by the Fulani.

My master is Jesus Christ.

And from what you have stated in this thread, your master is Oyedepo and you worship him, not Jesus Christ.
It is Jesus that gives eternal life...not Oyedepo....so you might want to correct your creed.

Take it as correction brother.
I am not here to fight.

Oyedepo has always spoken about the incompetence of the present government, how they have folded their arms and watched innocent Christains being slaughtered across the country with impunity.

If you love Oyedepo as your father in the Lord, and you love Nigeria then you should support what he supports.

Don't be a friend to his enemy

He that is not with me is against me - Luke 11:23b

You have quoted Jesus. Are you saying Oyedepo is Jesus?

How does me encouraging you to think about what you are voting make me an "enemy".

Has Sowore done anything to you that makes you not want to vote for a younger, exposed and more successful candidate to lead Nigeria where these old corrupt incompetent leaders cannot take the country?

Oyedepo did say those things, but he went back to side with the same corrupt people that did this to the country.
His actions do not align with his words.

I'm saying that it is OKAY for that to be, because he is a man and men have their failings.
His failings need not be YOUR failings.
It doesn't make him any less of a good man, nor does it make you any less of a good person.

I am encouraging people to use their own God-given power of agency to detach from these mental programmings...and to vote what their heart tells them is right....not what some man on a pulpit or some guy on the internet is telling them to do.

I believe if you are of God, you will hear God's voice.
And be ready to be okay with the fact that It may or may not line up with what your G.O is saying/doing on his own.

It is at that point you choose between God and man.

I expected these attacks. We have a long way to go in that country.
Encouraging Nigerians to use their own God given agency, and listen to the holy spirit for themselves on ANY issue (besides what the pulpit tells them) will always iliicit a crowd mob effect. Because all Nigerians do is mob/religious thinking. You don't actually do God-thinking.

Jesus my master suffered the same religious-based ignorance in Jerusalem, so who am I?
All the best with your country.

You've written a whole lot of ridiculous stuff. You are just making a storm out of a glass of water - the bishop has in many cases met with a whole number of presidential aspirants and has never told anyone specifically to vote any particular candidate. So what is all this epistle about?

Because I know you people. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I used to be among you.

Without him needing to say anything, over 90% of you will run and throw your votes over to the party he has basically endorsed. And y'all will do it purely because "that's what papa did" or because "I don't want him to open the gate of hell over my political choice" ...or whatever fear based stronghold he has created over your hearts.

Also stop with the logical fallacies. He IS endorsing PDP. You don't make a public appearance with a political party unless that is who you are endorsing. Enough with trying to play on people's intelligence. It's unbecoming.

What I'm saying is that, IT IS OKAY for him to do that... But it should not stop the rest of you from going by what is right for your country without this bias.

Choose a political party that does not entrenched backwardness. They have shown themselves to do exactly this over the past decades... They won't suddenly stop now.

A lot of the ideas they are even talking about were stolen from Sowore's party AAC. It is all mouth. Let's stop being religiously gullible please.

Stop talking like an unstable being.
Muslims have been telling followers of their faithbit is a sin to allow infidels rules over them whenever election is being done and nobody complains. I am sure if Oyedepo had turned down the invitation to reconcile to old friends you would have been the first to cry and insult him openly.

Many other religious leaders do worse but aren't attacked. Mbaka, Adeboye, Bakare and Imams across the nation do more but don't get all these fake attention.

So Oyedepo can't relate with Atiku or obj because they belong to a political party but he can preach salvation to members who belong to political parties? You appear irredeemably daft sir. No offense intended.
Don't let winners members loyalty to their leaders give you headache.
I know people like you are afraid of the annual Shiloh attendance figure of winners.

The Oyedepo thing is really giving people sleepless nights oh.
What happened to Mbaka, Bakare and Kumuyi who associated more with politicians more than Oyedepo?
Maybe the annual Shiloh attendance figure is giving them concerns.

Thanks for the long epistle... But my stance is clear Papa Oyedepo has done well by joining force to oust those that have brought Christianity to disrepute in this country... If the cold blooded killing of those Rev Fathers in Benue state means nothing to you, it means a whole lot to me and like the saying goes " the friend of your enemy is your friend " so let's leave it at that... Church leader cannot continue to fold their arms and allow politicians deceive their members again, considering the very important role they play in the lives of these members

You are not serious at all... Your Sowore, that disrespectful boy will not win his local govt much less the south west. Didn't Moghalu, Jang et al visit Oyedepo in his office. Are we saying he has automatically endorsed three candidates. People of Winners will vote their consciense-even in 2015, ppl still supported Buhari.
