Ioannes:
I know what your problem is. You have internalized pain, poverty and suffering so much you've begun to enjoy the feeling.

Quoting Scriptures makes you cum, right?

I guess your own scripture does not contain the portion where Christ used whip on those desecrating the temple by selling and performing sharp practices there.

You must also have missed where he called the Pharisees, the political leaders of that time a brood of vipers.

I won't bother trying to convince you not to vote Atiku. I am sure you and your kind were still in diapers when Atiku was vice President.

It would be infradignitatem for me to debate with you why Atiku shouldn't be voted for.

You are free to vote for him, that is if you are old enough to vote.

Now, shift.
I knew you were intellectually crude when I saw your first post. According to your logic, Jesus should have "berated" the thieve who asked him for mercy, and "scold" the other one who mocked him. Jesus would have "berated" the crowd when Barrabas' freedom was chosen over his crucifixion. Jesus would have "berated" Zaccheus the tax collector, who wanted to see him, Jesus would have "berated" Matthew his own disciple knowing he was a tax collector. Before coming at me with your blunt knowledge, you should understand that Jesus didn't whip those traders for making dishonest profits, he did because they defiled the temple. He scolded the Scribes because they were unwilling to change, not because they were evil. The Bishop did exactly what Jesus would have done, Pacification.

As for having "internalized pain, poverty and suffering." Thank God you don't, but understand that there are more than 70% of Nigerians who do, I'd much rather be in pains, be a pauper, be wretched with the people around me, than be in pleasure, luxury and happiness while watching my people suffer. If dining with sinners is going to liberate the people, so be it.

Shame on you Bishop. Instead of you to berate the two of them for robbing Nigeria blind when they both ruled together, you are here forming peacemaker between two super thieves.

A big shame on you Kukah.

Truly, there are no more Christians in this world, just pretenders to the name.

Would you rather there be a breakup of Nigeria as an entity than a United and peaceful Nigeria? Is it not a positive that the ones who sought to breakaway have seen a reason to remain united?? My brother not everything is APC vs PDP.

There's really no such thing as coincidence.
The Holy Spirit is the true mediator and only witness.

Nigerians will look forward to the happenings in the next months to come.

In as much as men should blame themselves when things get bad.
God will hold others accountable for the roles they played at the appropriate time.

Everyone knows that Atikus competence can not be doubted.. the only problem is corruption.

But Buhari upon being corrupt is incompetent combined. He has hate, bigotry, nepotism, vendetta, pretence, divisiveness and reeks of everything evil..

So I'd rather chose the corrupt man who has other values intact.

Besides Atiku knows he's seen as corrupt and so he'd have a lot to prove.
But Bubu, upon being corrupt is deceptive and takes Nigerians for granted. Blames everyone for his own faults.

And who says Atiku cannot be booted out after one term should he fail?
May be he will get into that office one day but definitely not in 2019, not against Buhari. He stands no chance

Rev father Kukah has spoken very well. I've never doubted his neutrality and with this his explanatory piece, I'm assured of his continued steadfastness in this regard.

OBJ is a politician and he ensured he milked Kukah's dignified presence for all it's worth. Well he wouldn't have been Ebora Owu if he didn't know how to do that wink

Be that as it may, Atiku and PDP will milk it too and who would blame them? After all Mbaka's tirade against GEJ proved very effective for APC and Buhari.

Las Las, all na about politics and self interest

How many times will you guys nag about Igbos not shouting Biafra??...why are you guys soo petty and childish??.....Do you want to hear about Biafraaa??

When some Igbos were shouting Biafraa you yorubas were crying...now that it appears the Biafra cries have subsided slightly Yorubas are still crying and having epileptic fits...

Please vote your Fulani herdsmen in Aso-rock(buhari and osibanjo) in peace but we know you are all pained and in anguish beacause the possibility of your bragging right called Osibanjo being thrown out of Aso-rock is high..

What value can you find from a corrupt person who is ready to trade the future of this country from his own benefit ?

You're probably correct. But to me, anybody is better than Buhari. Besides being a religious fanatic, Buhari is too old and too weak to rule Nigeria. The cabal has pushed him asides and taken over his administration. He might not be personally corrupt, but his administration is gradually becoming as corrupt and incompetent as Goodluck Jonathan's administration.

And what is your type? One who sees these men of God as God himself?
One who watches while religious leaders fraternize with their oppressors?

Maybe you think I'm an atheist taking a jab at your "fada"

You can't be more Catholic than I am. I am not loyal to any human being, only the truth because that is what will set me free.

Kukah hobnobs with politicians.

There is no way you lie with hounds and not rise with fleas.

I'm yet to hear of CAN or CBCN championing the cause of Leah Sharibu. Remember Leah? That wonderful being that refused to betray her faith and prefers to be in the den of radical, sex-hungry, blood-stained Islamist in the wilderness of Sambisa.

How many ckeric have you heard talk about her?

These ones aren't Christians. They can't use their familiarity with these vipers to get them to do the right thing.

How does Obasanjo embracing Atiku help anybody but themselves.
You hear what you want to hear. If you are Catholic as you claim, then maybe you need to be more open to what the Church says. The Catholic bishop forum has visited the President to express their displeasure over the deplorable state of the nation. There has been a nationwide call for prayer to end killings followed by street protests all over the country. The forum has since then released communiques to express their disgust and displeasure over the way things are done by government. They have expressed at so many times their unhappiness that Leah remains in Boko haram custody and finally they call for prayer all the time in the Church . If I may ask how many times do you go on your kneels to pray for your country? If you love Leah, how many times do you remember her in prayer? Maybe it is time you do a novena for her.
If all these have been done, and if you have offered prayer, everyone else has done, the Church has done and the girl remains in custody, is there anything anyone else can do? Do you think God is deaf, and he doesn't hear the Church's cry? Should the Church now resort to violence? Many of you often claim to be Catholics, but in your talk and deeds, you resemble those who don't believe in God more than you resemble Christian.

You claimed the bishop hobnobs with politicians, the same accusation pharisee levelled against Jesus in his time. They accused him of eating with tax collectors and sinners. So in essence, you are one of the modern day pharisee, quick to see specks in others' eye but unable to see log in his own eyes. An over righteous hyprocrite.

For you to hate Buhari this much means that he is doing something different from the ordinary. And it tells why you are not comfortable with it.
Please go and look for a honest job and stop waiting for corruption to resume in Nigeria cos it wont.
