travelland I get your fears, but let me tell you something, when you're a valuable addition to any economy, you won't be denied opportunities cos you are too valuable to be ignored.

I stated previously about a friend who's a network engineer here that got a job in Amsterdam, the head of their IT department was surprised that a 23 year old, Nigerian for that matter would be well versed in Networking. For those who know about network engineering, he has two CCNP certificates (R&S, Collaboration) and is going for his CCIE exam later this year. He had to do a video interview twice because his portfolio seemed just too good to be true.

You should also be aware that Goldman sachs completed it's recruitment in Nigeria in about March and the succesful candidates, two amongst which I know personally, are to be given work permit to work in UK. So it's obvious that there's a demand for HIGHLY skilled labour, once you have valuable skills regardless of your skin colour, there is demand for your services in developed countries.

Well said, but u don't understand that the racism part always rears its head regardless of how experienced the person is.
This I say from experience.
Then again if one who happens to leave and work in foreign soil wants and intents to survive and prosper. He/She learns to overlook those things and only faces what one is there for in the first place.

How come Indians, Iranians, Arabs and people from elsewhere come to the west with nothing, and in 40 years, they are running successful businesses IN the west that rivals the one already established.
Mo Ibrahim, Sadi Khan, Patrick Bet David, the owners of E bay, Alexander Amosu, Bhatia, etc came from elsewhere and they are doing JUST fine


And that is so because of the opportunities that exists.

I think we as Africans need to learn from the Asian sub ethnic group, to know how they did it etc.

Lastly as I have noticed in Nigeria and in some other African countries, coming from the "wrong" part of Nigeria or that country is even much worse than suffering racism, becauae it's your country men discriminating and making life difficult for you.

I am from the wrong part of Nigeria "Igbo" and despite all the success my family and indeed many other Igbo families have achieved both at the East and nationwide, you are still seem as a "Igbo man"

Many people from other ethnic groups (especially some Yoruba) hate you for no good reason, and hopes some thing terrible happens to you and your business so that you will be in the ground.

Many Nigerians will not vote an Igbo man to office because he is just Igbo, not because he is unqualified.

Some back then in Lagos even dream that one day Igbos will be Chased out of Lagos and the businesses and properties will be redistributed to the "omoluabis" (I heard this ridiculous statement first hand)

So after being treated like that, you really think it's "racial discrimination" that would deter him in the West?

If u lived in England u will see millions of those racial descent who are living the life but not that successful.

It's simple, the first generation immigrants work their ass out so their children can succeed, but that drive in the parents doesn't always match those in the children.
The Indians and Asians u mentioned are over millions in the UK. I saw a study that said Indians make up more than 3 percent of population but only a few become very successful and even less pass this success over to their children. And if they did, their children just ride the wave like Trump did with his dad's money.

Please house I really need your advise for my second attempt on f1 visa.......
I was denied before and I felt may be because of the sponsor I choose,I used my employer as sponsor and during the interview that was the area the consular was more focused on and length of service with them(which I started 3yrs).
Please house am going for my second attempt and am thinking of changing my sponsor,but am afraid if I change my sponsor to my father will it affect the foundation I laid down during my first attempt.
Please kindly advise if I should maintain my sponsor and continue as my documents where,or. Change my sponsor.........thank you.

Recently, he gave me link to aUS recruiting firm. I registered on the site only to discover that l had been blocked hours later.. And l strongly suspected it was due to my out-of-States status.

How did you manage to it? What was your journey like? What advice would you give to someone like me regarding US immigration policies. l'm in large part looking at work visa.And I don't care if l secure the job in a farm or even in a morgue

Here to share another experience. So, after doing strong head for months, I finally got an iPhone X from a guy who badly needed the money. Good deal for $400.

I was home fumbling with the phone o. Trying to fit it into a case. Before I hear anything, the buttons were pressed together, phone entered power mode/call sos, kia kia, it was dialing 911. I panicked and ended the call after one ring.

3 seconds later, I got a call lol. I was not gonna answer but my friend told me if I didn’t, they would assume I was in trouble, couldn’t speak, trace my location, and send cops to come and save me from whatever the issue is.

I hurriedly answered the call lol. “Hello, this is the Dallas police department, we just got a call from this number”. I told them it was a mistake, that I just got a new phone and the phone dialed 911, etc. They said ok, laughed, said goodbye and hung up.

Taxpayers’ money works. If I was genuinely in trouble, they would have arrived on time to save my big black ass. �����
