Meanwhile, Peter Maurer, the President of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and other members of ICRC have reacted to the execution of the beautiful Hauwa Liman.

It is with deep horror that I hear of the execution of Hauwa in #Nigeria.

condemns this senseless murder; an act of contempt for humanity.

Hauwa was a brave young midwife working to bring life into the world, and we mourn her loss with the greatest sorrow.

Hauwa's shocking death comes only a few weeks after her colleague, Saifura, was also killed.　

These young women shouldn't be defined by their deaths but remembered for the courage and compassion they showed in their short lives.

I can imagine the agony of the parents @ present..... God continue to give you comfort while he rest the soul of this pretty & precious young woman. You served humanity well.Nigerian government failed in its responsibility.

The problem with this insurgency are the disgusting elements in the Presidency and the North who play politics with the lives of innocent people.

The same sect of Boko Haram that executed dear Hauwa is the same sect that returned the Muslim Dapchi girls in broad day light and were cheered on by onlookers. Same sect that has decided to keep the only Christian girl as a life prisoner.

The same sect that Buhari, Buratai, and Lai claim to be technically defeated. Maybe Hauwa is also a soft target.

After claiming in 2015 to lead from the front and end the insurgency in 3 months; it's 3 years on and they're claiming there's nothing they can do. There's nothing they can do, but they could pay millions of euros as ransom for the Muslim Dapchi girls. And they want to return in 2019. #NeverAgain.

There must be sincerity of purpose before this insurgency can be eradicated.

I feel so sad for these beautiful girls and there family. May Allah comfort them at this point in time. This is not the time to politicise this, both Apc and Pdp have failed to protect lives and properties.. This is so so sad.

I am sure that Karma will soon visit and punish all the politicians and religious leaders that played politics with the issue of Boko Haram instead of uniting to fight against the monster called Boko Haram.
