Pls guys i want 2 know ur experiences so far while living in ibadan as a non yoruba speaking tribe especially south east nd south south. I've had bad experiences since my stay in ibadan 4 d past 2years now. B4 i start counting my bad experiences let me praise d city small.Ibadan is truly d largest city with tight security nd is very peaceful. d oyo state govt.is truly working nd every corner of d city is populated. My problem now is with some of d yoruba indigene in d city. They just don't like strangers especially d Igbos. D sight of an igbo man annoy them. Though i'm nt an Igbo guy bt they believed if u're not an hausa then u're igbo. I hav suffered alot 4rm d hatred, envy, insult nd descrimination 4rm them. Sometimes i regret my coming to stay in Ibadan.

Ibadan is good and very accommodating. I don't like igbos too. They are too violent and aggressive.

Ibadan is really cool if you live in and around UI, Agbowo, Bodija, Samonda etc. Very cheap and peaceful city. But u got to be traveling in and out of the city frequently to enjoy it, though their Taxis smell very badly. I spent 6yrs(ASUU strike) for undergraduate and 2yrs Masters. Greatest Uites!; Great!

Aggressiveness is an individual thing is nt related to a particular tribe. Some believe d igbos are into money rituals nd dat they like money too much. In this age nd time some still believe d igbos eat humans. And is very difficult for their girls to date an igbo guy simply because they are been raised with d mindset dat all igbos are evil nd violet. Last 3weeks when i went to d market to buy fish, dat i wantd to use 2 prepare stew. so i met a woman she was a fish seller. I approached her to buy fish so d process of bargaining d price she was saying all kind of words with yoruba calling me alaroro(stingy man) nd some abuse words wh i act like i don't care cos it their way. The one dat angerd me is when i wanted to pay her money for d fish she refused to collect d money directly 4rm me so she called on passer-by 2 collect 4rm me 2 give to her. Dat moment i felt bad.
