Guys please help..

I browse through a VPN connection on my redmi 5 plus..
Not the regular http soark stuff, I mean paid VPN

But I'm having issues with my cellular connection ever since I updated to miui 10 bullshite, my phone internet connection will just go off without warning, or both sim 1 and 2 network will just off and come back in later..

I had to downgrade but the same problem persists but in a minimal way...

Right now I can't even enjoy 5 minutes of internet browsing..
Guys please what's the way out

Good morning Great people.

As one of the sellers here, I have decided to update my terms of buyer protection in line with global standards

Pls from now henceforth, anyone who buys phones from me will be eligible for return/Refund ONLY IF THEY GET A FAULTY PHONE.
To ensure fair play on both buyer and seller, before I package your item for transit, I will record a video showing phone in working condition and send the video to you same day your package ships.

At the point of receiving package, buyer MUST record an unpacking video of package and testing of the phone, and if fault is detected, video and complaint must be sent to me same day package is received.

Pls note that I will NOT accept video or complaint made days later.

The reason for this is that I have noticed that some buyers take the decision of flashing G cam or whatsoever on their new device, and when these devices are bricked, they come back trying to claim that they got a faulty phone. This is a dishonest act and should be condemned.

Flashing of custom rom/Gcam is a personal decision and the consequences should be borne by the person who decides to.

As a seller, I don't subscribe to altering the software phones come with and I also don't give technical support in that regard. [/b]

How would you ensure quality control without unboxing the phone or powering it on??

HowGlorious:

That's why I said the buyer had to check the item the same day he/she receives the item and ensure the item is working, but this process must be recorded.

On my part, I will NEVER knowingly send a defective phone to a buyer, although I understand that issues might occur during transit, that I am willing to bear, just as I have been doing.

But to ensure Fairplay on both buyer and seller, video evidence is quite necessary.

This is not to scare people away, it's actually to ensure that honest buyers get value and protection for their money.

.. I have a case on hand where the buyer received the package on Saturday and chatted me up on Monday saying the phone was bricked. I did a recording of the packaging of same phone showing it in working condition and sent to him. Funny enough, he had even torn the back sticker containing the imei before complaining that phone was faulty.

He said he collected the package on Saturday but didn't bother to turn on the phone until Monday.

The natural urge of any buyer of a new device will be to test the device immediately after receiving.

He didn't have the time to turn on phone, yet he had the time to tear off the back sticker containing imei.

TBH, no one would buy a new device without wanting to see the content almost immediately.
