Look at the daily increases in goods and commodity...
Electricity tarrifs are increasing daily....

Corruption is more glaring than before...

The fact is the government hasn't fought corruption, the government just made it to be more sophisticated

My friend,we are on the same page,but different paragraphs.

Yes there is hardship and hunger in the land.Corruption is not being fought as expected,correct.

But should I vote out Buhari because of that? No!

Has Buhari failed,yes.Will I allow him to repeat the class? YES!

Why?:

1.The hardship and hunger was not avoidable.

-From 1999 to 2015,Nigeria was transformed into a petrol importing country by PDP.It is practicable not possible to reverse the trend within 4 years,so I will give Buhari 4 more years to do that.

-Even the best economies with the best economists in the world pass through recession.Our won was triggered by the unavoidable crash in the oil price and worsened by the fact that we relied solely on oil .

As a family,if your aggregate source of income diminishes,are the members of the family not going to suffer?

Is that Buhari's fault? NO,at least for now.

Now oil price is bouncing back and we are bouncing back out of recession.Simple economics!

Is the effect immediate? CAPITAL NO!

2.Insecuirty

Yes Buhari can do more.But do I think it could have been better without Buhari,NO,my personal opinion.

Fulani herdsmen? hmmm.....a very low point.

But then I asked my self: did the crisis just start? NO it predates Buhari. Is the situation now under control,Yes!

3.Nepotism

I asked my self:

Should I reject Buhari because of perceived or real Nepotism,above his stance against corruption? No!

I am aware nepotism is also part of corruption,but I am also aware that nobody is perfect and a saint will be very difficult to come by.

So I weighed Nepotism against Stealing of public funds,and I vote for the lesser evil,nepotism.(Remember nobody is a saint)

4.Restructuring

Yes we need it.But the major issues are being and can only be handled by the legislature: devolution of powers ,resource control,and state policing.

Can any other restructuring be achieved without the present legislature(by dissolving the present 4th democratic republic,or by say military coup or revolution)?

CAPITAL NO!

ANY CLAIM TO THE CONTRARY IS A BIG SCAM!

5.Corruption

I asked myself:

Will our treasury be safer under Buhari or Atiku?

And my conscience voted for Buhari.

Will the present fight against corruption,despite its negativeness,not better than nothing at all?

There is still corruption every where,but corruption is not a risk that could be zerorised, not even in 100 years!

So I asked my self,is the stealing more now or less?And my conscience says it is lesser now.

6.INTEGRITY

Caution: this is in relative term,no body is perfect!

Yes even in private enterprises,integrity is every thing.

Any day any time I will vote for a failure with integrity than a thief with lots of promises!

Many great achievers have succeeded through many series of failures.

So failure can never be a reason for voting out Buhari!

This is the problem with the whole thing when you 'individualise' instead of institutionalise government/political plans and programs. You are bound to err and the more you err the more society gangs up against you. I'm afraid the legacy of Mr. President continues to wane by passing events proving detractors right day by day.

Yesterday it was the reinstating of the corrupt head of the NHIS discussed extensively on an Abuja radio station.... honestly things have not been this bad since the advent of this administration. The standards by which it holds its head above water are now as low as those of the regime it replaced....
