My infinix note 4 got stuck at XOS Hummingbird logo,i did a factoryreset,mobile restarted & showed "hi"screen . After connecting to WIFI, i get the option either "start as fresh device" or "copy data/app from other android or iphone or cloud" but both options don't work. When i click either options, it says "Checking info" but returns back to same "data recovery" screen. Can only go back to "hi there" not forward. I wipedon't the phone again yet no solution. Can anyone help with a solution?

I took it to a carlcare center in Okumagba Road, opposite Robinson plaza, Warri for a check. it's one week and four days since I took it there and they told me they would get back to me in less than two weeks. i Havent heard from them up till now. Carlcare are bunch of exploiters. My phone became very hot to the point of exploding so I had to unscrew the phone and unplugged the battery connection and now I am being told to pay for a damaged phone that is under warranty. I was told I shouldn't have opened a phone so that I will put myself, my wife and kids in danger.

I have been told to pay N14,600 for a phone I bought for N20,000. A phone still under warranty.

I have been a fan of their products that my wife and I can boast of using up to 6 different brands and models of their phone. Now I know why people say they sell substandard and fake phones.

This is the last time I am going to use a carlcare phone. The phone almost exploded so I took out the battery and now I am being told by one Tesy Ogundele (supposed manager) at carlcare opebi that I have to pay for fixing the phone I bought six months ago with warranty. I seriously regret buying from carlcare. This is definitely the end of my using a carlcare device forever.

Good day here. I have two issues with my Infinix Hot 4 pro
1- The screen has a minor problem of showing different colors and being unstable sometimes. I took it to Carlcare Opebi and Carlcare Computer Village and was told that I have to pay #11000 to fix it even though it is still under warranty.
2- I tried upgrading my Infinix HOT 4 PRO to the Nougat version V157 that I downloaded from Infinix website and it worked. The only problem I had with it was that I lost my IMEI and then came to an thread that advised me to use GSM Alaadin to fix the IMEI but unfortunately during the process of repairing the IMEI , GSM Alaadin crashed and stopped working and the phone refused to turn on again. The phone's power was on 83% so it was not as a result of low battery. I have tried to flash it and downloaded two other firmwares again but SP Flashtool does not even detect the mtk preloader to start flashing at all. The system still makes sound when it is connected but SP Flashtool is not flashing it. I have read a lot of guides and tutorials to fix a dead hard bricked phone AND I have also been charging it for over 15 hours now but still shows no sign of coming on.
I read a thread of a similar situation with infinix hot 4 pro on xda developers site that was finally fixed by using Infinix Flashtool but the flashtool is not loading the scatter file giving error 8417 even after downloading the stock firmware from Infinix website. I have read threads from and other websites on possible fixes for error 8417 fix but none worked. The latest version of SP Flashtool loads the scatter file but doesn't flash but Infinix Flashtool doesn't even load the scatter file at all. I have installed the drivers again and it is still the same thing. I have even tried another PC using windows 7 but it still gives the same error. PLEASE WHAT CAN I DO TO RECOVER MY DEVICE? Water poured on my phone mistakenly, and now it's keeps switching ON by itself and turn it self Off . I took it to an Engineer in my area and he said that the battery have spoilt , I gave him to replace other battery and now its still doing the same thing ON and OFF

you can try a different charger, if that doesnt work then you take your device to carl care.
