Please use the recommended Hyndai/Kia SPI-IV for your vehicle. This is a modified version of the previous SP-III oil.

SP-III is the recommended fluid. Please do not use the newer SP-IV as it's lighter and made for post 2010 transmissions

I have a Toyota Camry 2007 SE V6 22pin gear box. I recently used a oando dex III for service but I noticed each time the engine is cold I usually don’t have a smooth change at gear 3 but it gets better when it gets hotter. Pls advice what should be done. Thanks

Pls a Nissan xterra 2003 Dat has been using dextron111 for past three years no issues. Can I know changed to the recommended matic j fluid. Cos it's the recommended fluid? Also same vehicle has been using Mobil xph oil no issues, can 5w30 be introduce to it. Pls need advice. Thanks

Matic J is not the recommended ATF. It's Matic D, but a good dexron III is permissible. Stick to your Mobil XHP.

For the engine, if your mileage is over 200k, stick to the oil you're already using. However if engine is still new, no issues if you change.
Does your gear change smoothly? Which brand of dexIII are you using?

First things to always check in a gear is the fluid. Your gear was designed to use the newer Toyota WS oil which has lower viscosity. So using the DexIII is a no no. I also hope the DexIII has not caused irreparable faults.

It’s been a year already and the only issue has been the gear 3 whenever the engine gets cold but this was the issue before changing the fluid. It’s not getting worse either. I’m going to do a oil flush and replace with the WS oil to see what the result will be. Thanks

Black smoke? What I recommended was for your gear and not engine. Black smoke is totally not related. Have the car scanned as black smoke means fuel is not being burnt well.

For your automatic transmission, please stick to the recommended Toyota Type IV ATF
While for the engine Toyota recommends SAE 5w30 oil.

If you can't find Honda oem oil, you can use Amsoil thought it is quite pricey.

Honda ATF-Z1 is recommended for your vehicle. However, this has been replaced with Honda DW-1 which is backward compatible.

So, use the Honda DW-1 Atf.
