Workers at the headquarters of the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS, early morning today clashed with the Police allegedly protecting the suspended Executive Secretary of the scheme, Prof. Usman Yusuf who showed up at office.

The police, however, fired teargas canisters at workers of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). 

The workers had taken over the place at about 8am but a team of police officers tried to dispel the workers as they led the suspended Executive Secretary to his office.

The protesting workers were over powered by the police who fired teargas canisters in the air to dispel them. Some of the workers sustained injuries as the scampered in different directions after inhaling the tear gas. 

Yusuf was, last week, suspended by the scheme’s governing board for allegedly inflating the scheme’s 2018 budget.

This is a man accused of embezzlement! Which corruption is Buhari fighting? Political opponents corruption? I really wish Atiku after winning in 2019 would jail Buhari for crimes against the future and continued existence of a united and progressive Nigeria! They should put him and Nnnamdi Kanu in the same cell. Both men have the same ambition for Nigeria!

This man most be very important to Buhari to be enjoying this kind of unguided privileges that has made him to become so reckless in all his conduct. I hope Buhari and APC sympathizers still know the definition of fighting of corruption and integrity. I forget, they are all saints.

It's only in Nigeria that you will see this kind of impunity. Tomorrow some youths that are brainwashed with change will tell me Apc and Buhari is working. If he is not backed by the highest authority where will he get the audacity to do this.
