Fayose Smiling On Arrival At Lagos Court For His Bail Hearing. by CastedDude(op): 9:18am On Oct 24, 2018

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Wednesday morning arraigned the immediate-past Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose, for his bail hearing following alleged fraud of N2.2bn.

Fayose was earlier arraigned before the Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday, six days after he completed his tenure as governor.

He was taken to court from the custody of the EFCC where he had been detained for questioning after he voluntarily submitted himself on Tuesday, October 16.

Fayose was brought to the court premises in a white EFCC bus, accompanied by security operatives.

He was immediately taken into the courtroom presided over by Justice Mojisola Olatoregun.

Justice Olatoregun granted Agabi’s prayer, ordered that Fayose should be remanded in the custody of the EFCC and adjourned till Wednesday, October 24 (today), for the hearing of the bail application.

Even if it is selective, is it s sensible justification to allow all looters and thieves be in peace?

PDP and their sympathizers' reasoning defies logic. It's just like saying an exam invigilator who catches a student engaged in malpractice is wrong to catch him just because he is unable to catch all students engaged in similar malpractice. Or saying that a police officer who arrests a motorist for violating a driving law should not be appreciated just because many others were not arrested by the same officer.

What a warped reasoning.

It's Fayose's time now, we hope others like him will be brought to justice someday as well.

PMB IS NOT SERIOUS ABOUT FIGHTING CORRUPTION. WHAT HE'S DOING IS SELECTIVE FIGHTING AND AS SUCH THEY CAN NEVER MAKE A POSITIVE CHANGE/ACHIEVEMENT.
EFCC CAN NOT WIN A CASE AGAINST FAYOSE because THEY ARE UNDER FUNDED TO HIRE A LAWYER WITH WIDE EXPERIENCE WHILE FAYOSE CAN EVEN HIRE FEMI FALANA CONVINIENTLY. FOR EFCC TO BE ADEQUETLY FUNDED IT MUST BE APPROVED BY THE SENATE AND HOUSE OF REP. ,AND IF YOU THINK SENATE WILL APPROVE SUCH REQUEST IS A BIG LIE. NIGERIAN WE ARE IN FOR IT.
