This guy does not understand it. He never did.
The 'law' was created to repel people secretly known for such acts who were ready to contest for presidency at the time. The government present then did not care for the average man, they only had a secret agenda to fulfill.
If you notice the police never went around witch-hunting people, it was average bigoted citizens who did.
Nigerians right from time never had a problem with gays. The law only brought out a vocal minority who used the chance to make others’ lives hell.
With a new administration comes the continued disregard of the matter except on the pages of irrelevant blogs and forums littering the internet. Life, it seems, has continued to go on.
