“You know how to interpret the face of the earth and the sky. How is it that you do not know how to interpret these times?” these times are messianic times. God is intervening in the life of His people through the person, the teaching and the action of Jesus. Our own times are times of God’s intervention in our lives. We need the eyes of faith to see the hand of God in the events of our lives. God is not folding His arms and looking at us. In the pleasant and unpleasant experiences we go through in life, God is with us.

At a time where most Nations are battling one crisis or another, we pray for the presence of God in our lives.

Today, we pray special for Hurricanechris...


May God continue to protect and guide, may His blessings never depart from your life and may you succeed in all that you do.

We see the patience of our Lord in today’s Gospel. The owner of the fig tree wanted his vinedresser to uproot the unfruitful fig tree. But he vinedresser pleaded to leave it standing for one more year. Every breath, every moment, every day added to our span is a gift from the Lord who, in his patience, gives us an opportunity to become better, an opportunity to be repentant. Let us use the days and years given to us to bear fruits of charity.

We pray that we will learn to appreciate everyday of our lives anduse it to make a positive impact in the life of someone.

Bartimaeus was not only blind. He was a beggar. As a blind man he lost his sight, as a beggar he lost his dignity. Bartimaeus represents us in our sinful condition. We are blind in our sins, our sins deprives us of our dignity as children of God. Jesus restored the sight and the dignity of Bartimaeus. He does the same thing to us. When he forgives us our sins, he restores our sight so that we can see God as a God who is love. He raises us once again to the dignity of God’s children.

We pray for the grace to recognize the fact that we have sinned... And we also pray for the grace to shout at the top of our voice "Lord Jesus, have mercy on me"

Today we pray for Ubenedictus... God's blessings and protection be upon you. May success be attracted to you just as magnetic attracts iron fillings...
