Btruth:
If only Nigerians realize that this woman is more important than both Buhari, Jonathan, Obasanjo, Saraki & the Atikulated one put together nii?

Rest on madam Stella Adadevoh. You will forever be in our hearts.

Absolutely true. If this woman had not acted courageously as she did, Ebola would have spread like wildfire in Lagos and tens of thousands of people would have fallen victim. GREAT WOMAN! She died so that others may live. None of these useless politicians is prepared to make such sacrifice.

A national hero. And she has a strong background too. Her grandfather is Herbert Macaulay and she is a grand niece to Nnmadi Azikwe. I think she should be given a national honour posthumously.

A great Amazon. Even in death, she still stands strong.

Meanwhile, the lifeless jihadist is still a greater hero to coneheads even more than their ratattak legend of otapiapia

. Not everyone forgot her. The woman has a special place in my heart as always. You know what it meant for her? She knew death would come knocking. cry

These are the type of people that make the medical professionals look like demi-gods. Such a pure heart. There's another one like her in Festac Area albeit older. If she looks at you once, you will feel cured immediately. embarassed

To the humble medical professionals out there that still hold dear the Hippocrates oath, kudos to you guys!!!

We commonize ourselves in this country, that's a major problem we face.

Happy birthday ma, rest well.

heroism is in her DNA!

This morning, I clicked the google doodle by mistake, and it took me straight down the memory lane. I read her profile, and that of Patrick Sawyer. It was a tale of good vs. evil. Good prevailed in the end, but at the ultimate price. (RIP to a true hero!).

Can I do what Dr. Stella did if I ever found myself in such situation? Can I offer such selfless service with full knowledge that it will cost my life? Am I patriotic enough as to give my life for my country - this present day Nigeria... ?

These were the thoughts I reflected upon, as I started today with great soberness.

She saved what could have been modern extinction of people by that selfless act. The healthcare climate was tensed during that period. Little wonder why first consultant medical center has her office locked as a gesture towards that cause!!!
The strike action in government hospitals during that time actually prevented Patrick Sawyer from been taken to a general hospital as it was required from an ECOWAS official..

is it required from, or required for,, your sentence is leading me in two directions
