Ihedioha just took a wrong step of chosing Deputy from Small Oguta, instead of huge ORLU AREA.

He has basically limited his catch areas to Mbaise.

Okigwe has candidates.

So if Uzodinma emerges for APC, he is most likely to win considering population in Orlu area.

What do you mean when you say Orlu area?

Unfortunately for you Owerri zone has got the highest number of registered voters and highest number of pv collected despite Owerri zone having 9lgas while orlu has 12. One lga in Owerri zone will outnumber 4lga in orlu zone.

With these issues erupting here and there, I'm of the opinion that the gubernatorial polls will definitely be a battle of familiar titans. 3 founding members of PDP fighting for the post from different parties. Hope Uzodinma seems to be one that would be having an edge over the rest. He is a grassroot man, he is from a senatorial zone that has 12 out of the 27 LGAS in the state. He has the backing of so many other APC bigwigs in the state including the state deputy governor. (Note that Roch as has threaded on a lot of toes whom are now all out to ensure his sole desire of planting his son in law doesn't materialize). He (Hope) also will have federal backing as APC at the centre will do anything to ensure they don't just loose Imo. Again He has a lot of money to spend. The fact that Owrrri and Mbaise have never agreed will make him scoop some votes from Owrrri and whereas OK if we with 6 LGAs already has a gubernatorial candidate In the person of Sen Ararume, there will be a lot of bloc voting which I think may give him (Hope) the little edge enough to take him to the Douglas house.

However, I still see him decamping to the PDP after his victory especially should they unseat the ruling party in aso rock come Feb 2019.

MrAJQ:
Gibson Achonu , Owerri

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has taken exception to the remark of the Acting Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Mallam Lanre Issa - Onilu, who described him as a bad loser in politics.

Issa- Onilu, had in a statement on Thursday, described some APC governors including Okorocha as bad losers in respect of the governorship primaries of the party.

A statement issued in Owerri on Saturday , by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor , Sam Onwuemeodo explained that Okorocha , contrary to what Issa- Onilu would want people to believe and other governors , are working for the progress of the party with the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole.

The governor observed that disagreements with the party leadership were bound to arise and advised the National Publicity Secretary on the need to exercise caution in order not to create a wrong impression .

Okorocha warned against castigating governors , who worked for the party from the onset, insisting that Issa -Onilu misfired by doing so and had sent a bad signal to the world .

Okorocha however , advised Issa- Onilu to acquaint himself with proper information on the Imo APC case to avoid feeding the public with falsehood that might snowball into a conflagration.

He recalled that Oshiomhole cancelled the results of the primary conducted by Ahmed Gulak -led committee and set up a new committee headed by Ibrahim Agbabiaka , which conducted a fresh primary .

According to the governor , “ the governorship primary conducted by the Agbabiaka- led committee threw up Uche Nwosu as the APC candidate in the state”

The numbers in question is largely made up of both Owerri indigenes and residents from other zones including Orlu. Mbaitoli has the largest registered voters and that's not a stronghold of any of the contestants, suggesting that the votes will be shared.

Now its obvious that the greed, ego, overbearing nature of the individuals from that region means that the much advertised 2023 presidency carrot dangled to them may not materialize and it wouldn't be much surprise to most political observers.

Don't forget that 3lgas of Owerri, north, west and municipal has got the least of registered voters, and the 3lgas are were almost 95% of none indigene are living

Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta are already in Ihediohas hand, then remember the Udenwas, Acholonus, Udokwus, Udeagus, Nnajis.. They are all with Ihediohanma

I just wish APC fields Hope Uzodimma. Uche Nwosu stands a better chance to win (Rochas factor and rigging). Rochas can never support Hope and without his support, there is no way Okigwe or Owerri will vote Hope. Orlu won't even vote him sef

The odds favor Ihedioha (PDP) with all these clashes in APC and APGA
This ur analysis shows u r on ground in Imo.

it might not really materialize, it is such a pity the amount of hit the vp slot is raising is so so surprising. I try to go back in time to see if this has happen before in the previous vp selections. place or person or even organisation were every body d claim wiseness , sharp man. things can't go fine. from my observation the ibo tribe is their own worst undoing. politically! now the music now is atikus second term. lol. from fasholas statement... every sane person will know where it will be easier for south east to bring their ambition to live. any way! ....

the source of Imo River is in Onuimo LGA, Okigwe

it flows down to Owerri-Umuahia Road bridge (Building Materials market Obowo) and Owerri-Aba Road bridge (NNS Kamanu naval base Owerinta) dividing Imo and Abia states

down to Obigbo bridge (Enugu-Port_Harcourt Expressway) dividing Abia and Rivers states

and to Ogoni axis bridge (Port_Harcourt-Eket side of East-West Road) dividing Rivers and Akwa Ibom states

before pouring into the Atlantic ocean

where it joins Lagos "lagoon"
