Yoruba muslims and Christians must take not of this fake king, especially muslims. Islam has nothing to do with Yoruba religion.

If Islam has nothing to do with Yoruba religion, why then are you a Muslim?

Your religion of Islam despises your Yoruba culture.

Agreed. For instance, I could give business lessons and career advice to atheists there.

It is when you are broke that people will frustrate you for your atheism.

When you have money and are independent, you can say whatever you want.

Regarding the business advice, I worked for 2 years in Nigeria and I am now self employed. I see myself better than my mates that remained in the UK and us.

There is money in Nigeria. When you are self employed in a ing business, you will be comfortable.

I'm into properties, trading IT equipment and general hustles.

there is difference between culture and religion. Islam doesn't despise culture unless it's in conflict with Islam. All these festivals, Eyò, Egungun, Osun, Agemo, Oro etc are not cultural practices but religions. Therefore they are forbidden in Islam. But cultural dances like we used to do at school, cultural improvement of community, language, Ewi, Aló apamó atí apagbe etc are cultural things that are allowed.

Very good. You have a talent.

1) First, you should register a business and open a business bank account. If you have already done that, kudos.

2) The second thing is knowing the nature of your business. What do the successful IT guys do that I am not doing? Is there something (a gap) that they are not doing in which I can fill?
You have to understand the Nigerian market. For instance, there is always opportunity to build websites.

The average Nigerian cannot be bothered to learn how to build websites. You can add that to your IT services. You have to look at the services that move markets and see how you can offer some of them.

Understanding culture is key to understanding customers. Nigerians like school and certificates. You say you teach coding, can you open an IT school? Can you make your teaching more formal?

3) The third thing is getting clients. Nigeria is who know who. My first clients were my father's friends. Start with family. Suck up to those that have money in your family. From there, you can use their testimonials to build a client list.

4) The fourth thing is to remember point 3 when you have made some money. Go back and start another hustle. I sold my cousin's car and got 200k as commission. He wanted to sell his car for 2m and I sold it for 2.3m. I don't know anything about computer but I sell laptops, phones and tablets as well. Any legal hustle bring money.

I am mostly into properties but I do little of everything. I buy and sell anything to make side money. You cannot put all your eggs in one basket. You might even find out that you are a good trader or agent. Multiple streams of income.

5) Networking and marketing. Do you know how many friends I made in the UK from Nairaland? You remember my date with Anony grin? I even got a babes number from you.

The reason is this- I ran my mouth as logicboy and showed that I was a big boy. Travelling Europe and driving jeep when I reach Naija. All na packaging for networking.

You learn a lot from friends. There are things schools cannot teach you. From betworks, you can advertise yourself and grow.

Cheers

Yeah, I agree.

Taking a break helped me deal with that. Though still got deep anger issues in real life. Happy weekend, me man.

Nairaland's theme is so awful. One of the worst sites I visit regularly... It's got great content if you dig beyond the front page....

Most of our modern churches, are the brain-child of the forces of darkness. They crave to destroy the light of Christ within the children of god. Century after century false pastors have always been in our midst.
The forces of darkness have built their tent around the church, for the achievement of one purpose, and that is, preventing the children of God from becoming one with him.
