This is what I.was.trying to say at the end of my comment and some guys think I supported what the man did. No sane man will support violence on a woman. But our women should learn to be peaceful too.

Some women too are extremely wicked. In contrary to what the lady quoted was saying "Men are beasts, men are devils etc" out of her compassion for the woman killed. No man is happy with what happened.

Let me tell you a real life story. A friend of mine Gbenga (real name) died about Four months back. He was based in the UK. he traveled first and after two years or so he brought the wife and child over. Now one day Gbenga left home late for work and he missed the train or something, he decided to go back home, called work place to do night shift. He entered his apartment met a man on top of wife. The woman didn't expect him to be back at that hour. He was so emotional that he pounced on the wife and started beating her and the boyfriend on his way down the staircase called the police. To cut the story shot Gbenga was deported. He struggled and struggled to go back to no avail. When my guy heard from friends that the wife got pregnant and even did naming ceremony of the child of the same boyfriend, Gbenga started talking to himself , Cloth rough, No more barbing of beard, etc . Gbenga ran mad. He started roaming the streets of Ibadan half nakedd. Four months ago he died at the UCH.

My point I am trying to make here is that the Gbenga that I used to know was a very very quiet guy. But he lost control of his temper and ruined his own life by his action. If he had walked away at that point in time, he could have jejely divorce the woman in peace.

There are some men who are animals though but there are some so quiet that it is the wickedness of troublesome women that changed them to be violent.

God help us.

I'm aware of such incidents.....and had that in mind while commenting. Not much details about this incident...but if the guy caught the wife in the act....then his crime would be one of passion. If he just brutalized and killed her for whatever other reason...then it's first degree murder.

Op should have at least tried a bit to find out exactly what happened b4 using someone's misfortune as opportunity to preach against quick separation of couples. Am not in support of Marital or abusive relationship, am married, sometimes it takes the grace of God and self control for me not to beat my wife. Due to that, have taken a lot things out of sight, I don't have friends I discuss my marital issues with. This is not a film tricks, not one of the scenes acted in Nollywood movies. In a real-life situation, she was beaten to death by her husband, who stuffed her body in this box and was caught on his way to depose her.

Now listen, I have been married before. Blessed with two adorable children, something that was supposed to be a very happy marriage, going by the way it started. Got so soured to even bear with. That’s by the way.

One thing I realised in those times was that your family will never ask you to leave, though you decide to leave, they will not support you in your decision. And when you summon the courage to even finally leave, don’t expect to count on their support. Only a few kind-hearted and understanding ones would extend a helping hand towards you and your children. Others would claim, “were you not the one who decided to leave? Carry your responsibility naw”.

The truth is, these things shouldn’t bother you. Don’t even give thoughts to such, think beyond every form of human help. Perceive yourself as a Conqueror, and visualise yourself being alive in the future with your children. It is more important than answering a WIFE whose life could predictably end up in this way. Thereby forcefully abandoning your children for another wife that will replace you within 1yr or in the hands of well-wishers.

Take a walk out of that abusive relationship, give yourselves time to breathe, heal and see if planning a comeback will make things right again.

What you don’t know is that, If you keep forcefully get stock there, your kids get spoilt. You spend your whole time quarrelling, fighting, depressed, planning a counter-attack and you’ll never have the time to teach your children right from wrong, no time to show them love or tell them how much you love them. Nor teach them how to love. I mean, can you give what you don’t have?
