Abbas Hajaig is a Lebanese Engineer who was born in 1961 and raised in Nigeria and eventually naturalized as a citizen of the country. He is most well known in Jigawa State and environs, as well as the Nigerian business community, as the owner of Hajaig construction company which has built a reputation as one of the most reliable construction companies in Nigeria. Having being raised in Birnin Kudu in Jigawa state where his parents settled in, the Hajaig family was given the traditional title of Zanna of Birnin Kudu, first given to Abbas’ brother and passed down to him after his brother’s death, mostly for their contributions to the development of the community which they identify with as true members.

Things like this are supposed to be normal and supported. But I just can't accept this because Lebanon and in extention the Arab world where this dude hails from are quite racist. They would never support a black man who was born and bred in their country to a leadership position.

These racist Lebanese people "spits", if it were to be a black person running in their country, they would never accept such.

That raghead can rule over his loyal slaves in the North. It can never happen down South.

Do Africans have this same right in their part of the world? We Africans need to start treating these "migrants" the same way the treat our "migrants". If he wants to contest a political position he should return to his "state of origin".

We are too welcoming of outsiders while we sideline our own. Neocolonialism is in full effect.
