The case is already with the police and if they insist Sam should return it and get a refund, he doesn't have a choice than to return it. Let's try and understand with Sam too as he's one of us in another country rendering a service to us and we wouldn't be happy if he starts having police issues over there.

Ope should understand that using offerup from Nigeria is itself a criminal offence and if the US police starts investigation, there's no way it won't lead to them finding out everything and it's our guy Sam that will be in trouble. And ope claiming ownership just because he made online payment to Sam isn't valid in the court of law as there's no receipt or any legal documents to backup your claims. It's Sam that had physical exchange with the seller and bought the goods thst is the assumed owner. As long as you'll get your full money back, I see no reason why you should be flaring up.

This issue is not hard at all my brother.... Even if he's taking all phones back to U.S for refund, he'll still be at loss and still hurt me deeply in so many ways...so why not let us reason and find way to see what we can do instead of authoritatively saying he is instructing IBL to send phones back without my consent. Impossible ! In this case i at least knew IBL was my point of contact and where to pick my goods before i traded with Lionlee and I have fully paid for the items including service charge and shipping fee.... IBL will return the phone to the shipper not u and if you keep dragging this, it will take a very long time before dis issue ill be resolved. am sure lionlee216 wont come from yankee cos of dis and IBL too is a company that has her policies.

You even said what if i unlock the phone and sell it at high amount, You csn ask arround here. Even if sellers responds after 3 days, ill still contact the buyer. All the deals i have been posting on nairaland. I dont make profit on them. Profit of 20$ or $10 wont take me anywhere but i know its still something if 10$ is converted to naira.

I think this is the best thing. I don't know how their police operate over there. My move would have been to recall the case from the police station and accept the $200 she's offering for return. Then picker and seller can see how to balance on the remaining $50. It seems like the easy way out.

Shes not offering $200. She only said the value of the phone was 200$ and Ope said 300$. Hence the reason i asked for the offerup conversation btw Ope and the Lady which he claimed offerup deleted the conversations
