ontarioissauga: Pardon them o. At first, that page 1 looks like something written in Chinese. But as time goes by, its starts to sink in. Months back, I read through the first 10 inital pages and told hubby that the process seemed too long and cumbersome. Recently, I came back, garnered strength to scan through again and viola! I am waiting to receive my ECA report from ICES. 6 Likes |

ICAN ATS and CIPM are positively evaluated by WES. So the choice is yours. clefkelly: |

yea will do this with the guidelines posted earlier, but the person I quoted was saying that once you have a foreign certificate the WAEC is waived, so I wanted to know how authentic that was. Thanks a lot though. ontarioissauga: |

clefkelly:CIPM or ATS plus a degree are both accepted by WES as 2 or more certificate. However, I think ACA is the one that is still debatable, someone with more knowledge can clarify this. 1 Like |

Hi everyone pls I need your opinion on my work experience. I worked for 6 months at a firm, I was paid for 5 months (indicated in my salary account bank statement) the sixth month's salary has not been paid and it doesn't seem like it will get paid. Is it ok to claim the 6 months and write LOE to explain the missing 6th month salary in the statement or just claim 5 months? I can't get a reference letter, but I have employment letter, soft copy of id card, pictures, mails etc. Thanks 1 Like |

chuckdee13: It's the opposite. Once you have a Nigerian qualification the WAEC wahala is required. |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 1:05pm On Nov 01, 2018 |
Mm. The rule requires you to be paid. 1. Do the mails you have cover the period of 1 month you were not paid? 2. Do you have a record of correspondence with them over them paying you the money later, you querying them or them committing to pay you the money? This might help convince a case officer. If you can't convince the officer na to Accra for interview be that. pweetygeek: |

Tojued: It was WES, way back in 2010/2011... The school had refused to append certain stamps and signatures on outbound documents which made credentials easily forged. The Alumni fixed it... Maybe the one you're referring to is a different occurrence. |

Negotiate: Mehn this is something I saw in August or so, when I did research on all ECA bodies after WES added WAEC. Anyway most important thing is that UNIPORT alumni can evaluate with whomsoever they like. 1 Like |

Tojued: From my findings, you have to upgrade to a course-by-course evaluation if you want to study... Not sure about jobs. 1 Like |

Negotiate: Thank you for the clarification. Normally the upgrade can be built on the regular evaluation, which is why some people evaluate all their degrees ab initio. So that if they ever need course-by-course in future, an upgrade will suffice rather than looking for how to obtain transcript when you've already relocated to the Canada. For some jobs (especially regulated) evaluation is needed and there are even rules in place... what body can be used etc. This particular situation is sha special since the person has studies in the French. Normally nobody cares about your certification in a second language all they care about is that you can work proficiently in said language. However for some specialised jobs the said certification/studies will be required. I don't know much. But imagine for instance if translation is regulated or if he/she wants to join a professional organisation for translators or challenge exams or take further studies to contemporise their knowledge... an evaluation of the Bachelor's degree may be needed. |
