Watching this clip of the helicopter crash and counting the number of times I have boarded choppers and airplanes just this year alone and also my experience yesterday boarding Airpeace from Abuja to Uyo.

How the plane lost two back tires while taxiing for take off and how the pilot struggled to gain control of the plane and finally was able to stop the plane from overshooting the runway.
I say thank you Jesus for loving me unconditionally.

The pilots hadn't reached the take off speed V1 yet and that was a good thing. If they had, you guys must take off and it would've been a disaster trying to land again.
Debris in runways usually cause such tire problems and the last time I was in Lagos airport, the runway I saw fell way below expectations.

Staying alive is enough compensation for me. That even earned us 6hrs delay.
We ended up using same plane after they replaced the tires and did some servicing.

Yes but we were at a very high speed. I think we had attained sufficient acceleration for take off.
The pilot really did an incredible job I must say. I am not sure he had upto 400m left to veer off the runway. So you can imagine the brake applied severally.
I think that actually affected the braking system because after they must have serviced the plane and also replaced tires, during taxiing again, whenever he applies brake, the plane made an unusual noice and also shook.
Well I hope faan does something about the debris on the runways.

Nawah oh AirPeace is not a good compny afterall, maybe try ArikAir next time. They are very similar though but ArikAir has more experience as it fly International so should maintain a better standard.
