OEPHIUS:
The PDP Presidential Candidate has admitted that even though $16 Billion was spent on? Electricity from 1999 to 2007 when he was Vice President, they did not handle the issue of electricity properly.

His exact words
This comes contrary to what he tries to display that when he was Vice-President, they did their best.

So does this mean they just squandered $16 Billion without need?

Accepting responsibility is a very rare quality in this day and times, even though you were not the commander-in-chief then.

Is it a curse that Nigerians must focus on Buhari or Atiku? Other better candidates no dey out there....

No, it is not that simple. Many people still believe that USA has just two political parties: democratic and republican. Because those are the two that always produce presidents. Many people already belong to either democratic or republican, and in our case, either PDP or APC. Unless these "other better candidates" emerge through both of these big parties, they are just wasting their time.

Just tell us it's because you were the largest importer of Mikano Generator. Also both you and OBJ started building your private Uni(Bell and AUN) when public universities were at their longest strike in the history of Nigeria. Never again!

The poverty in Nigeria suffers from poverty and we are collectively responsible. Atiku is our chairman. It'll take the size of Syrian war, for anyone in 3yrs, to plunge Nigeria into its current extent of poverty if Atiku left behind all he carted away in 8yrs as a vice president.

As Head of National Council on Privatization (NCP), from 1999, @atiku dug Nigeria's economic grave for today's extreme poverty and unemployment. There were over 600 federal assets when @atiku's NCP started selling.

Atiku should tell us who bought what and what was left when he left.
Nafcon
Eleme Petrochemical
Daily Times
Ughelli Power
Egbin Power
NICON Insurance
ALSCON
Transcorp Hilton Hotel
NICON Luxury Hotel
Sunti Sugar Ltd
NetCom House
Bacita Sugar Ltd
MM2

In 2007, Onigbolo Cement operating at 500,000 tonnes per annum was sold to Dangote at N1.7Bn

To those selling Atiku, let me remind you of @NGRSenate public hearing of August, 2011 which succinctly captures how @atiku through retinue of cohorts, fronts, shell companies, ring fenced over 70% of FG's assets through a brazen daylight robbery privatization that he supervised.

This is nothing sensational. Its real life facts and all the Senators are alive today. The 2011 privatization Senate committee was made up of Senator Ahmed Lawan – Chairman, Senators Babafemi Ojudu, Philip Aduda, Mohammed Ndume, Ifeanyi Okowa, Hope Uzodinma and Mohammadu Magoro.

Lets look at Aluminium Smelting Company, ALSCON, that Atiku privatized.

ALSCON which Nigeria built with $3.2 billion, was sold to a Russian firm, Russal, for $130million. As of the time of sale, ALSCON had received $120million for the dredging of Imo River, but was never done.

When the Senate Seating of August, 2011 asked the Russian company the whereabouts of the $120million dredging money, the company's Deputy Managing Director, Vitaly Kuzrestov, said that the money has been used for Environment Impact Assessment." EIA kii you there.

FG's Five percent share in Eleme Petrochemical worth USD27 million was never presented to at the National Council on Privatization before t'was sold to Indorama.

Indorama recovered this amount selling Polyethylene and Urea to the entire west Africa sub-region in just 14 months.

The Atikulate Business Theory: Sell to yourself Government assets that leaves millions in penury, to set up personal businesses that provides for a few. @Atiku didn't employ the few hundreds he employed because he likes them, he needs them to work to preserve what he took from Government.

Fam, the business acumen of Atiku you are bandying about is smelly.

A man who supervised sales of over 145 federal investments as a vice president, without a thought for today wants to be president.

He didnt revitalize them.

He didnt resuscitate them.

He sold them to whomever. May Nigeria succeed

PMB built JEBBA HYDRO ELECTRIC POWER STATION in 1985 AND COMMISSIONED IT
What did PDP did to some of it?
ATIKU SOLD IT and Have the name changed to MAINSTREAM ENERGY SOLUTION LIMITED
They SOLD not for the nation benefits but THEIRS AND THEIR CRONIES.
What did we gain after selling it?
We got Darkness all over that paved way for Atiku Mikano to excel.
Has PMB stopped building?
The answer is no.
He is building again and finishing the ones they abandoned after appropriating the fund which they shared to themselves.
Now, they are telling you that they wants to build?
Build what they can't build for good 16 years of plenty?
The truth is that they are coming to sell the remaining items that made up an entity called Nigeria.
I won't allow it...
I don't know about you.

Atiku! Fix power? Is this a joke? He won't! It was not shocking to me when he and his crew spent $16B on zero megawatt while he was Vice President!

The same man now has the temerity to tell us he and his wicked crew "made mistakes(!)"about power. $16B "mistake" is a monumental disaster that cannot be swept under the caepet!

Atiku is unfit to lead this great country.

You dey mind those blind citizens past leaders are not suppose to rule again because when they where In power they didn't make much impact, now they want to come back to do what?

I think Nigeria suffer never start yet

Some leaders are just like the devil itself, they give with the right hand and collect with the left hand, atiku is believed to perform better than Buhari, yes but atiku will drill Nigerians, he will loot, siphoned and embezzle much more than past leaders and nothing will happen because Nigeria's past president are like untouchable, something like immunity after power

I pity Nigeria

Power plants are not built within days, at least fashola found out the hard way, after deceiving and wasting our time. We need him to tell us in simple terms how he intend to increase power generation with at least 3000megawatt . hydro gas turbine plants has a price tag, Siemens and general electric of america can manufacture as much as we can pay for in a reasonable time, how can he fund it, Public private partnership? Foreign direct investment? Or China Loan we need to hear real facts not some rocket science Mumbo-Jumbo. Next he should tell us how his administration intend to supply at least 2million meter Unit so his ally that he sold NEPA to won't continue milking Nigeria with estimated billing. He knows some Nigerians are very gullible that even if MMM comes back with some sweet talks fools would still fall in line
If Egypt can provide 14000 mega watt increase in 3 years, and now earns foreign exchange from energy export

Atiku or Buhari does not have answers to these questions u asked, infact, they wount even answer u now or in the future but i know someone who will give u a realistic answer

I know this man made some mistakes in the past but you can't help but see that he will do better than buhari....

Man of pmb age na to go for good name and correct him past 1983 mistake and do the things that will make Nigerians remember him for good deeds even when he's no more but instead oga came for revenge to destroy this country..

PDP nor perfect them loot I agree but looting better pass APC when wan kill the whole country literally APC na evil party...
Na pride go kill Igbos finish, just like pride made Devil loose kingdom heaven. By refusing to bow down to Adam. Igbos are refusing to bow down to authority. Just imagine Atiku confessed of looting $16 billion dollars during his tenure, instead of making him to refund the loot, Igbos are saying, he should be given another opportunity like Obj to reloot again ?.
Its high time looters should have their country with Atiku & obi as the President & vice. while we the hardworking and reasonable Nigerians should live in the other.

What a sorry ass statement..."Only a magician can fix Nigeria's power problem." If there's any truth to that and you know damn well that you are not a magician, why the fvck you took the position? Often, Nigerians make off-handed statements without thinking of their implications. That means he took a job that he's ill-equipped to do. We wonder why the country has been regressing for decades now.
