tbaba1234:Forget about my objections, you didn't need my objections to rubbish this story so how come you didn't cry fake news on that one? Solanke that has been getting invites has not exactly been a world beater, even Lookman was getting invites while warming the bench for Everton |

BascoVanVeli:I will cry 'fake news' when the evidence points to it. Is this the first time that Nigerian players have failed trials abroad? Solanke and Lookman are certainly more highly rated than otabor. They have been part of the structure and even won a WC. Solanke is on the books of a top premier league side.Otabor has played only 90 minutes this season in the championship. He has not started any games. Lookman has played in the bundesliga and has played more minutes this season in the premier league. What is the incentive to invite him for either team?? Even Ebere Eze had to show great form to get called up. |

Elche goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has been ruled out of the Super Eagles of Nigeria clash against South Africa in the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers due to an injury which will keep him out for four weeks. As reported by Owngoalnigeria.com earlier today, Uzoho left the pitch on a stretcher after conceding five goals in Elche’s 5-1 loss against Cadiz yesterday with an issue related to improper breathing. The club has now confirmed he won’t be available for the next four weeks which effectively rules him out of Nigeria’s game against South Africa in the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers and also the friendly game against Uganda. To that effect first choice goalkeeper of Enyimba Theophilus Afelokhai has been contacted to act as cover for the duo of Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi who were the other goalkeepers in the list for the games. Afelokhai was first choice ahead of Ezenwa in Enyimba’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign, no thanks to the disciplinary issue that made the team to suspend regular first choice shot stopper Fatau Dauda . |

ChrisKels:Solanke wasn't actually signed as a first team player by Klopp. but he got the opportunity of playing a lot with Sturridge and Ings always injured and Origi desperate for more playing time moved to Wolfsburg... that automatically made Solanke the second choice striker last season ..compare his situation with Iheanacho who was prompted to the man city first team and had to battle Aguero and Bony for a place in d team... Solanke had many opportunities last season. 27 games with some starts. yet he could only manage to score one goal... This season he doesn't even make the bench anymore. He is 21 already. Iheanacho was already a star at his age ...yet oga Southgate finds it easy to defend Solanke and ridicule Iheanacho... What do u call that ? |

Taliban:Solanke made no mistake by joining Liverpool. certainly not when Klopp is manager... Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander Arnold were playing youth football a few years ago but under Klopp, they got enough first team opportunities and proved their worth and today they aren't just established players in Liverpool but also England. Solanke got that same opportunity. he simply couldn't grab it. Iheanacho had d same opportunity at city and he grabbed it... |

ChrisKels:Hmmm, but if this is true, Solanke in Yoruba could mean we take care of wizards and witches but since the boy forgot his source and dissed his source, could be that the association described by Comodo is now 'helping' him. |

Taliban:The most important component in football my humble opinion is not just ability. But OPPORTUNITY Liverpool and such big clubs are HIGHLY IMPATIENT they have the money to buy World class proven and tested players. Solanke is neither proven or tested just good potential. By Liverpool standards what they paid for him is peanuts. He should have been wiser if he had gone to Brighton he would be a regular by now. |

Danielnino00:That's presumption birthed from your imagination in bold. I don't think anybody has ridiculed KC in comparison to Solanke. How many people have rated KC on the same level as Mbappe, Batshuayi, Ighalo, Aguero etc. Which some of you have done, that's where the larger disagreements have come. He KC is good but not that good yet. I said then and still do that as a bonafide No. 9 out and out striker, I rate Dominic Solanke more. If that expression of opinion is what you call by your definition an act of derision. Then I have nothing to say to you. Once again I don't defend Solanke but taken in context he cost the paltry sum of £3 million or thereabouts. He was never bought as a striker to contend with Sturridge, Firmino, etc just good potential that might come good. Since you raised the comparison how would you compare £3 million to £25 million. |

Joebie:yeah. exactly. Although, any fits Iwobi, I prefer Ighalo stays right ahead of Iwobi. A pity Uzoho is out with injury. so we miss two key players in Ndidi and Uzoho!! Rohr's list is making less sense as that day closes by. I'm already reserved to know Ezenwa would keep that day. lol. what a confusion right now. Perhaps we need a performing goalie to rival uzoho. |
