Collins earned his first maiden call-up to the Super Eagles in September for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash against Seychelles in Victoria but didn’t feature in the game. The left-back however made his debut for the three-time African champions in last month’s 2019 AFCON qualifier against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo. He also played the entire 90 minutes in the reverse fixture three days later in Sfax, Tunisia. Collins is in line to earn his third cap when the Super Eagles face the Bafana Bafana of South Africa on November 17 at the FNB Stadium, Johannesburg after been named in Nigeria’s 24-man squad for the game. The Super Eagles will also face the Cranes of Uganda in a friendly match three days later at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba. “The renewed nomination is also a confirmation of his good performance in the 2nd Bundesliga. Jamilu has become a top performer in our defensive network. In the national games, he will gain more valuable experience, “CEO Sport Markus Krösche,” told the club’s official website. Collins has featured in all of Paderborn’s 12 German Bundesliga Two league games this season. |

komekn:Yes they have the world's most expensive CB but he is paired most times with Joe Gomez who cost even less than Solanke. Milner nko? What about those 2 young fullbacks? Just admit that the boy no try at all. |

komekn:Even if Solanke was bought for 1 naira it doesn't matter. what matters is that he had first team football opportunity last season and he failed to grab it... How much did man city even signed Iheanacho for? It took Iheanacho a few games in pre season to prove his worth at city... Solanke was given opportunities in pre season, EPL, UCL, FA cup and league cup. what did he do? |

BascoVanVeli:I pray the coach gets his acts together fast, as a change in management may not favor Ekong as we saw what happened back at Turkey. Yeah, they are a talented side, Behrami and Fofana are my favorites. |

Taliban:Yes, if they are really in second place. The Northern conference has group A and B and the Southern conference has group A and B. The top two teams in the four groups will compete. |

Icon4s:Truth but I just want him to focus on his strengths right now. I think this is where Wenger went wrong, he should have made an assist target instead of a goals one. If you are going to be put under pressure at least make it be on something you are great at. |

DrLikita12:Hun, it is very very possible that they are unaware of the Super 8. This is a country where so many people that should have no business in football are running football. If the NFF were not aware of Shehu already having 2 yellow cards and still fielded him in the next game what then do u expect from an NNL club administrators. |

BascoVanVeli:Yes focus on his strength which is dishing out those precise killer final passes but he can secondarily work on his shooting accuracy. There will get to a time when managers will start plotting out the antidote against Iwobi's strength. It happened to Hazard. If Iwobi can improve on his shooting ability he becomes unpredictable as defenders will not know whether he will likely give a pass or aim at goal. Such AMs are typically unplayable. |

DrLikita12:Maybe they've already paid off the referees but seriously it is normal for government to show face once there is success. All of a sudden they will want to do handshakes before kickoff. It is nothing but a publicity stunt but players love it because it means more money. |

BascoVanVeli:Yeah but the current Government of Edo state has done a lot for Bendel insurance. They have rebranded the team with new Colours, New modern Team Bus, improved players welfare and their home ground is currently undergoing renovation. I just wish the team can do well so the governor can be encouraged and do more in the area of funding. |

BascoVanVeli:The politicians want thier popularity, the footballers want thier money. Most state sponsored teams have been reduced to mere propaganda showpieces. |

Icon4s:I agree with u but I just don't think anyone putting that burden on him right now is helping him. He can work on his shooting in training and even take wide open pops but he should not feel like he must score because that would mentally take him away from his attributes which already help the team immensely. |

Curtisaxel7:That is the very ugly side of clubs being owned by the state. It also means some bozos will be in charge of the state FA which are part of the NFF. I honestly can't believe FIFA allows government own clubs but don't allow government involvement in football it is hypocritical. |
