Here you go!

Please can you share a screenshot of the tweet? I've tried to search but didn't see anything of the sort. Maybe someone should tweet this and see their response...

I am not on Twitter I'd have done it (and no, I don't want to have a Twitter account grin)

"Proof" will be the sticking point. I think it might be necessary to get email bookings in order to present it as evidence.

As it is she is your sister. Since she is a minor i believe you can apply to be her legal guardian, that way you can add her as dependent.
Dizzy007:
Hi guys, please lawyers, seniors I need some advice. A friend of mine wants to start his EE application, his parents are currently late. They had legally adopted a girl about 7 years ago, complete with all the adoption papers. So now he's her guardian/brother/sole relative. She's about 10 years old now. Please does he need to legally adopt her again to include her in his application as his dependent? or just indicate that he's her guardian?
Thanks.

@Joo18,all the best to your folks.I will advise they try to network properly, there are watsapp groups for that.I know there are ' notes' you need to read and they repeat questions that's for PLAB 1 then for PLAB 2,there are courses you need to attend in UK too that increases ones chances of passing. Its all aboutinformation.God luck to them.

PPR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so excited because I really wanted to announce ppr in this thread 5..it's been a long journey since I joined in thread 3...Back to the main gist;
Decision to travel: January 2018
IELTS (first Attempt) : LWSR-8|8.5|8|6.5 I requested a remark on writing and listening and my scores for both changed by .5 after 12 long weeks thanks to BC
Within this period ECA came through. I evaluated just my Masters degree.
ITA : May 23
Was heavily pregnant by this time so waited for baby's arrival before Applying.
AOR : July 7
Not sure when I passed medicals but was on IP1 till last week (29th October).
ADR: IMM5475 form ..completed and sent that back next day.
And then I woke up to the golden mail.
The wait is worth all the excitement.
Thank you thank you thank you to all my helpers here. Special thanks to those that gave their PPR stories..that kept me going. Good luck to those still in the race. We shall unite in canny land

Gloryyyy to God my 'Alien' friend has got PPR go and prosper.

I am sure they know all that. I think what @joo18 is trying to say is that the UK route too isn't easy as well

Let me chip in a piece of advice for doctors planning to migrate to Canada,Canada is not your best choice if you really want to continue practising.UK is better as you have the opportunity of practising both in Canada and Australia if you do residency training in Family Medicine in UK.

All you need to do is write PLAB and within 6 to 9 months, you should be done with it then you can apply for Trust Grade jobs which are readily available.Once you start working, you can sit for residency exams in Family Medicine and if you pass, you can start your training. If you are lucky, you can even get a bursary of £12.5k after tax for training in some areas. While training, you can apply for Express Entry and this gives you the opportunity of practising in Canada as a Family Physician or moving to Australia and practising as a GP too.Right now,Australia seems to have more perks in terms of pay and weather compared to Canada.

All the best in your pursuit but always look at the long term when making these decisions.

I believe all the doctors in this race must have done a thorough research before embarking on this journey

Hi,
I think i replied your email but i am not sure you got it. I applied as a self-employed applicant. I know what your journey has been like. Firstly, don't write any letter for any client to sign as your job reference letter. if you read back, someone did this and got into hot soup. If you can go through my posts, you will see what you need to apply as a self-employed applicant. The most important things you need are contract letters, your income tax and cac documents. Also make sure the contract figures can be traced in your account. You can always pm me if you need more info to get you through.

See you in Canada

Hi bigfido,

I'm also a self-employed applicant. Please I sent you a pm. I saw some service contract samples online. I want to know if they are the same as the contract letters you mentioned.

Thank you

Pls I need assistance regarding translating PCC. I requested for Norwegian PCC in English cos I spend over 2 years there. However, the PCC was sent in their language. Is there a way I can get any certified translator in Nigeria or can I do the translation myself and get it notarized? Thanks.

The bolded.
"We don’t accept translations by family members." http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=039&top=4

For the translation.
1. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=018&top=4
2. Google "certified translator nigeria" and try out one that meets your needs.

Hi. Do a search yourself and bring out possible NOCs. We can help you fine-tune it.

I don't know if your questions has received attention but this is was what I was able to dig out.

1. I have not heard of double standard but I know of the mistake of omission in which case you can write to WES for a review. On a second thought, the mode of entry(Direct entry) seem to be the reason why one is watered down relative to the other, then again I could be wrong but see the first screen shot for slight insight and how to handle such occurrence .

Secondly, from what I have been able to gather so far it seems IQAS do not evaluate none university credentials see screenshot from someone that contacted them in 2016. You can also contact them to see if the policy has changed

Thanks and God bless!
Regards.

Try contacting the Embassy, they might have a list of translators.

Thanks bro. I'm looking for a way he can include her in his application at the moment, instead of the sponsor later route.

I think it's best he tweets at IRCC. But I must tell you that those responses are not always exactly as the VO would treat the matter but it should give him a guide on what to do. He should then work assiduously to present an inpeccable documentation to convince the VO on the legitimacy of his move.

In my opinion, I believe he should be able to have the boy/girl as a dependent, since the adopted is now orphaned and unable to fend for himself. I'd think that he might be required to legally adopt. It'll be nice if you keep us updated on this.
