A Nairalander Needs Advice On Which Country To Relocate To. by neutralmind: 4:05pm On Nov 05, 2018
Hello,

Brief Introduction.

I'm a young entrepreneur, male, single, university graduate.

I have faith in my country.

However, ive decided to relocate abroad for a couple of years to seek greener pastures.

The environment here in Nigeria is not the most conducive. Business gets really tough and challenging. Acesss to suport and funding is a big challenge.

It has been tough so far.

So heres the plan. I have a reliable partner Who can sustain the business while im away.

I wish to travel to another country for some years (10yrs on thè average ) where i can work and rise funds to eventually bring back home.

I need advice on which country to consider. A country with friendly migration policies,
not so expensive migration process ( i have a very low budget) .

I look forward to your ideas and suggestions.

Thanks

Netherlands comes to mind bro, cost of living is a little bit on the high side but when you secure a good job, you'll find it smooth. I have been there before and I would love to reside there permanently. cheesy

#My opinion.

Oga, advising you is like finding a needle in a haystack.

First off, do some research and streamline your options.

There are 195 countries in the world, limit it to say 3-5 so you can concentrate.
This will also help anyone advising you.

Then, include your course of study, work experience, funds you have, age etc.

please I am to attend an exhibition in Germany and I have already booked appointment with the German embassy.

I was looking at the supporting documents and I saw; Certificate of Incorporation/Registration of the company in Nigeria, Memorandum and Articles of Association / Company and Allied Matters Act, Federal Inland Revenue Service Income Tax Clearance Certificate/Company Income Tax
Clearance Certificate of the past year and company´s bank statements of the last three months (only stamped and signed bank
statements accepted).

I am just an employee and my company said they can't handover the aforementioned company's documents to me though they have given me letter from the company to confirm that the company is aware of the trip.

please, what do I do? someone told me that the company's documents is targeted at self-employed not employee that I don't have to supply them as employee. but I can't confirm.

Why naa?

Because abroad is not what you think it is, it becoming extremely difficult for Nigerians to travel out because of our reputation outside. Your low funds is not helping either.

Where do you think the companies that power all our betting companies here are located, from Nairabet to Bet9ja? Malta is the home of the gaming industry and if you have the necessary skills, they have a work visa program that will take you with open arms.

As an employee of a company, you don't need the documents listed above. Except and Only when you company agrees to give you a photocopy of that document, you don't need to have any of the above.
