A Twitter user @IamKareemBerry, took to the platform to raise an alarm over some popular shows in Nigeria which stopped airing because of the economy.

According to the Twitter user, his tweet about popular shows in Nigeria which has been stopped is for those who think the economy is doing well.

He wrote;This is coming few days after President Buhari claimed that Nigeria’s economy is looking good. According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, the President spoke while receiving the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Nigeria, Mr. Jesper Kamp, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Nigerian economy is looking good and we look forward to making it better,” the President told the Danish Ambassador after receiving his Letter of Credence.

Hmm... If. Lai Mohammed could reply this he'd say... And i quote "lies from the pit of hell... That these shows stopped airing has nothing to do with the country's economy, i know this for a fact because before now i had spoken to producers of the shows listed above and they told me so themselves"

It is not as profitable as before considering the advent of social media. How many people sit to watch programs on TV but most are on social media. Instead of spending so much money on TV airtime, this money can achieve a better result with a targeted online campaign and marketing because everything still boys down to marketing.
