This was captured at Teslim Balogun stadium in Surulere, Lagos. The very dirty foam/mattress as seen in the picture is what is used by high-jump athletes for training at the stadium. Athletes that use the foam for training include state and national athletes. Indeed, this is very uninspiring - to say the least.

And something in me is telling me and even assuring me that they picked those foams up from the open dirt area at the back of a LAWMA truck. Can anybody confirm it? |
