This thread will take a long time to complete. As I study the Bible,

I will bring points to show you why I have so much faith in the Bible.

pls follow me closely.

I have one already.

1. The Author of The book of Joshua tells us how the sun stood still for almost a day... and

the day time stayed longer.

Look at one wonderful verse in that chapter :

" And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies.

Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day."
(Joshua 10: 13)

The author called our attention to the credibility of the story by saying :

IS THIS NOT WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF JASHER?

A book has the same account... the book of Jasher ......

People at this time would read the book of Joshua and seeing that it called another book for a witness, these people will definitely look for that book of jasher.

There is no way this will be a lie.

Now, there is a South American Legend of the sun refusing to set.... for a whole day..

In that part of the world, history has it that the worship of the sun began there after the incident.

2. Apostle John, after seeing the mind-blowing, heart rending and unspeakable revelation as penned down by him, said these words...

(Revelation 22 )
------------
18 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book,

If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy,

God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Copycats were many during this day. he John did not want anything to taint what he had seen..

and written...

He called God to take away the copycats portion in heaven, and then increase his share of the horror that are listed.

What more could be this authentic? uh?

If the content of the book of Revelation is this True and authentic,

THEN AS AN UNBELIEVER, YOU ARE IN TROUBLE.

I love and believe God's word. There is so much I can't explain or understand about it

My brother, you have what it takes already.

You believe.

understanding comes from God.

Explanation? hmmmm.

I have a lot of explanations to many.... by the help of the Holy Spirit...

However, there are some that I cannot explain myself.

As we grow in God... we know more...

and at death, our understanding becomes full.

So, continue in what you believe... and you will know more.

I can offer to give you some explanations .... but not on this thread.

Some things are better left undiscussed.

for example.. "When did God begin? "

etc.
God bless you.

Look at this one:

During this time some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.

One of them, named Agabus, stood up and through the Spirit predicted that a severe famine would spread over the entire Roman world.

(This happened during the reign of Claudius.)

The disciples, each according to his ability, decided to provide help for the brothers living in Judea.

This they did, sending their gift to the elders by Barnabas and Saul.

This account holds a lot of information.

One Agabus who was one of the prophets in Jerusalem... (Early Readers of this verse could confirm this)

Prophesied that a famine would spread over the entire Roman world...

and the time it came to pass was stated., and the Roman ruler during this time was mentioned.

These are things that are verifiable by early readers...

Luke, who wrote this book, confirmed that the apostles who were in Jerusalem and Judea needed help because of the famine...

and help was sent by Saul and Barnabas.

The apostles could have denied this because they read one another's books...

take a look at what Peter said concerning Paul,

Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.

He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters.

His letters contain some things that are hard to understand,

which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Peter acknowledged that Paul's books, we're hard to understand, but are by the wisdom of God.

You see?
They read each others books...

Peter, therefore Authenticated Paul.

Amazing!!!

This one is incredibly amazing and authentically beautiful.

It will blow your mind away.

brace yourself for it.

Kings Chapter 19 vs 1-12 and Isaiah 37 vs 1-12 are the same WORD FOR WORD.

YES .You heard me correctly.

Because of space, pls find out.

If you read further, from verse 13 they are not word for word but the same message.
How is this possible?

this is it:

Whenever a prophet received a message from God, he will write it down.

(atimes, God told them to.

He will give a copy to the king, and the king will keep a copy in the synagogue for the priest.

The prophet holds the manuscript. In case of damage during usage in the synagogue, there are two more copies.

In case of war, and destruction, three sources are available.

Isaiah's prophecy was published in that book of Isaiah while the kings copy was published in the book of kings....

that is why those two are the same.

God is the Almighty. He created the brain.
You think he doesn't know what he is doing?

Look at Jesus statement :

(Matthew 24 )
------------
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

This is Jesus speaking as written by Mathew.

Jesus made reference to the story in the book of Genesis.

We have the book of Genesis and we can confirm that the stories as told by Jesus and the book of Genesis which we have, are the same.

On the other hand, these are the reasons why I believe the Bible is a written piece of junks by the Roman Drunken Masters. grin

1.) Exodus 34:7 says - “Visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation”.

but Contrary to this, the Book of Ezekiel (18:20) says - “Son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him”.

Deuteronomy 24:16 it says - “The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin”.

Which one we go believe? grin

2.) In 2 Samuel 24:9, it says - “And Joab gave up the number of the people unto the king: and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew the sword and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men”.

On the other hand, we find in 1 Chronicles 21:5 - “And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people unto David. And all they of Israel were a thousand thousand and an hundred thousand men that drew sword: and Judah was four hundred and three score and ten thousand men that drew sword”.

Can you now see that the gorimapa heads of the Roman Drunken Masters who purportedly wrote & translated the Bible under the influence of the Holy Spirit are not correct? grin

3.) We read in 2 Samuel 24:13 - “So Gad 3 came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land?

However we read in 1 Chronicles 21:12 - “Either three years famine or.... ” grin grin grin

4.) In 2 Kings 8:26 we find this statement - “Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. “

In contrast with the above statement we read in 2 Chronicles 22:2 - “Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign...” Hahahahahaaa! grin grin grin

5.) According to mathew 16: 27-28 - “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom”.

This statement has definitely been wrongly attributed to Jesus, because all those "standing here", died nearly two thousand years ago, and none of them saw the Son of Man coming into his kingdom.

Perhaps, maybe had taken ogogoro before making the statement. grin grin grin

6.) It is said in John 3:13 that - “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven”.

This is also incorrect, as is evident from Genesis 5:24 (Enoch Ascended) and 2 Kings 2:11 (Elijah Ascended). Hahahahahaa! grin grin grin

7.) Malachi 3:6 says - “For I am the LORD, I change not.

But surprisingly In Numbers 22:20 - 23; - “And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do. And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab. And God's anger was kindled because he went”.

Isn't it very strange that God first commended Balaam to go with the Moabites, then His anger was kindled against him simply because he went with them? grin

Do you now believe me when I say Yahweh is suffering from brain lesion? grin grin grin

8.) Now, let me now give you the jackpot why the Bible should never be taken seriously. grin

The book of Exodus 33:20 reports God saying to Moses - “Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

Even 1 Timothy 6:16 also buttressed that statement by saying - “Whom no man hath seen, nor can see. grin

But we read a different story in Exodus 24: 9-11 - “Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink. grin grin grin

The Prophet Moses and Aaron and the seventy elders of the Israelites not only saw God with their eyes but also had a feast with him.

The above statement is the reason why Christianity will go into extinction before the year 2025 - unless all the General Overseers (G.Os) in Nigeria like Enoch Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo, D.K Olukoya, Pastor Kumuyi, T.B Joshua & Oyakhilome contribute 30Billion Naira for me so that I can keep my mouth shut & quietly retire to my village in Ijebu and enjoy my loot with my concubines. Hahahahahahahaaaa! grin grin grin

Remember that we're in the age of knowledge & wisdom - which is absolutely detrimental to the fraudulent kingdom of Yahweh's goal of raking in those hundreds of Billions of Naira on monthly basis. grin cheesy grin

So, tell your G.Os to do quick in acceding to my request before I amplify the microphone & loud the speakers beyond the Atlantic & Pacific oceans. grin grin grin

you have not presented any fact, you only displayed your ignorance of the scripture.

Well, i keep saying one thing, only educated people will understand that the area of knowledge you were never aquinted to, you cannot say anything categorically about it until you have a complete study and understanding of that area.

If your intention was to ask questions, ask questions. Quit mocking what you do not understand or you are seen as a mad man. grin

Better still, if you belong to a religion focus on your own holy book where you understand and leave the bible alone which you do not understand, it will make you a sound person.

Every book of the bible were written in different era or time not at the same time, though some of the books were written by one person. For instance, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus and numbers were written by Moses, inspite of that, moses did not write all these books at once, He wrote them at different times and some of each stories where based on different situations according to what conspired at the moment of that time .
So, for you coming to quote Exodus saying .

Exodus 34:7 says - “Visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation”.

Then you go to Ezekiel and say

but Contrary to this, the Book of Ezekiel (18:20) says - “Son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall father bear the iniquity of the son:

Your intention is trying to bring contradiction where it does not exist.

The story situation behind Exodus 34:7 is not the situation behind Ezekiel 18:20 therefore you cannot use the two verses as basis for comparison to see whether there are contradictions or not.

Trying to do that will only reveal your ignorance or mental state to anyone who have read and understood the two books and their different situations.

For me, i will rather advice you, leave bible alone and focus on something you can understand properly

Or if you are truly interested to know, take another six years or more and study the bible back to back(which you cant do alone and need some to help you out)before you can come out with any argument.

Because you are far lost lipsrsealed

Let's take a look at the four gospels.. Mathew, mark Luke and John.

Luke wrote the book of act and gospel according to saint Luke
He wrote it to Theophilus.

Theophilus heard about Jesus and got the message wanted to confirm. Luke 1 vs 1-4.

see what Peter said :

------------
37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Peter confirmed that the exploits of Jesus was published everywhere and Theophilus heard and wanted to confirm.

Luke then wrote the book of Luke and Act to him.
Now, this is it. Who was Luke?

Luke was mentioned by Paul as a physician. Colosians 4 vs 14. During his letter to the Colosians, he acknowledged Luke.

In Philemon 1 vs 24,....Paul mentioned Luke as my fellow labourer. Mark was also mentioned as fellow labourer.

We have seen that Peter mentioned Paul.. now Paul mentioned Luke and Mark.

Paul was there when Stephen was stoned. He engineered it. But Luke gave us the Account of Stephen being stoned.

If Luke is a fellow labourer with Paul as mentioned above, that means his accounts in the book of Acts are true and confirmed by Paul.

Paul may have told Luke about Stephen .. or he got the information elsewhere. bottom line is that the story is true.

Paul also mentioned Demas. But later, he said Demas left him..... because of the issues of the world.
Luke did not leave Paul during the persecution.

I will be reluctant to read the book of Demas. If it exits, because of Paul's testimony.

I will be okay with the book of Luke and Mark.

The book of John is an eye witness account and that is why it is so detailed in explaining the divinity of Jesus..

Look at this :

" This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true."
(John 21: 24)

This is the disciple in that verse refers to John.
you will see this clearly if you read John 21. John the beloved therefore wrote the book of

John.. That explains why it is so detailed about the divinity of Jesus.

.. John 4 mentioned the Samaritan woman at the well dug by Jacob.

Jacob dug a well in Genesis. If you google this, the well still exists as we speak, but dry.

Mark, Luke and John are okay. but we are left with Mathew. since Mathew has alot in common with these 3 books, then we are okay with the four gospels.

The difference you might have is in Narration.
Don't forget that Luke and Act were letters written to Theophilus.

Different people will write an account in different ways.. there may be differences ie.

Mathew mentioned Mary Magdalene and the other Mary at the tomb of Jesus, mark included Salome, Luke used the word they for the people at the tomb

John mentioned only Mary Magdalene at the tomb who went further to say that she ran to call Peter and himself (John).

Whatever differences they have, A Message is clear.

Jesus came. Did miracles beyond human reasoning. Died. Ressurected. Ascended.

And is coming back. All the four gospels AGREE WITH THIS.

Why didn't the Apostles try to remove this differences?
They were stupid?
No.
It shows the originality of the message.

For me, i will rather advice you, leave bible alone and focus on something you can understand properly

Or if you are truly interested to know, take another six years or more and study the bible back to back(which you cant do alone and need some to help you out)before you can come out with any argument.

Because you are far lost lipsrsealed

Thank you for the advice seeing that you have no explanation to offer aside beating about the bush like the Christians always do when they're boxed into a corner.

I equally commend you for letting me know that I need your Holy Spirit to be able to interpret all the mumbo-jumbo in the Bible - Didirin! grin

You don't have to remind me to leave the Bible alone. I left it alone more than 8years ago when I discovered it is nothing but a tool of brainwashing - riddled with irreconcilable contradictions. grin

Oh, you want me to take another 6 years to study it - with the help of who? Your Holy Spirit? Hahahahahaaa! grin

You know, you're even dumber & brain-dead than the OP. Tell me, why is your Holy Spirit yet to deliver Lear Sharibu from her captivity?

Your Bible makes us understand that Yahweh will not hesitate to send 10,000 of his Angels to deliver his fraudulent children from evil.

How many times has he honoured his vow by sending his Army of Angels to deliver his Children - constantly being maimed & raped all over the Country by the Fulani Herdsmen? grin

You're just a new ignorant recruit with twisted coconut brain filled with junks - in the fraudulent kingdom of Yahweh. grin

I have been reading the Bible since 2001, and I've read it thoroughly from A - Z 3 times before I decided it is of no good.

Unless you stop touting the Bible as the next best thing after Agege Bread, I will keep letting the world know how full of shiiit it has always been.

Let me know when you have concrete & convincing explanation to offer - especially to the number 8. grin

you have not presented any fact, you only displayed your ignorance of the scripture.

You are a senseless being for even calling that guy Dindinrin. who is more dindinrin if not you.

You sat down with the Bible to read it true with the motive of looking for errors. How won't you find "Errors" You will definitely find "Errors" because that was all you were looking for.

The moment I read "Walahi" in your demonic fault finding comment, I got to know your religion.

You are but a fool jumping into a thread to derail it. It is not surprising because your Religion of "Peace" is always looking for trouble up and down creating Chaos all over the world.

If you are not mentally derailed, you would know that those books were written at different times and in different situations.

So if God said I changeth not. He can not Change His mind on what he said he would do yesterday today?

For example, He promised to wipe off the City of Nineveh for their Evil and when the people repented He changed His mind.

Does that mean by that act He has contradicted His "I changeth not" claim?

You are a morrronnn!

You are nothing but a demon possessed fool.

Go and start spreading the News of the Bible not being accurate. Who cares? grin

You even said Christianity will become extinct by 2025 !

Can you see the revelation of your state of mind ? I am glad to let you know your mind is not stable.

Your father the Devil has been trying it from the time of the Apostles to no Avail.
In fact gather your demonic friends and start the campaign right away. grin and see how stupid you will look to even the mad man on the street.

Oponu!

My Bible is accurate !. Until the demons leave your troubled skull, you can't see its accuracy and authenticity.

Leave the tread alone and go and start your Jihad on your platform.

From the analysis above, we can see that the four gospels, despite there little differences,

agree with the fact that

Jesus was born of a Virgin,

Jesus did heartbreaking miracles

Jesus died for the sins of the world.

He resurrected and ascended to heavens.
and he is coming back to judge the world.

As mentioned in the analysis, we see that the differences are not removed by the apostles..

it goes to snow that the writings were not edited..

The devil knows the efficacy of the word..that is why he keeps people away from it by showing them the differences...

He will not allow them to see the Central Theme which is consistent all through the Bible.

Yeah. Thanks for your observation.

When Polycap told that ruler that Jesus died for him in the first century,

he said...

what!!!!! that Jewish son of carpenter who was hanged as a rogue?

and he laughed and then ordered his execution because polycap did not change his belief.

according to the Bible,

Foolishness is the gospel of Jesus to those who will perish. to those who are saved, it is the power of God..

also,

the Greek sees the gospel as foolishness but when they got called, it became the power of God to them.

If you are not called, Jesus will be foolishness to you.

.That is why I don't take offense in what you said.

God will open your eyes..

but before then, you can now move on.

thanks.

lol. What makes you think that the life belongs to you?

...You had no say in your conception, you will have no say when your spirit is about to be taken from you.

same for me, and everyone.

If we all know this,

We will acknowledge the giver of life and do good.

My brother, anyone's life can be cut short at anytime. when death comes, it is sudden,

in a twinkle of an eye.

You don't have a life to enjoy.

I don't too.

accept Jesus so that you can enjoy eternity, which no one can take away from you.

Peace .

the last time i checked, i did not mention holy spirit in my comment, i dont know where you are getting that from.
I have already diagnose you like this.

This is truly a sign that you have a slight mental disorder somewhere and you know what?

Look at what Paul said when he was preaching in the book of act,

" God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again;

as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee."
(Acts 13: 33)

Did you see that?

As written in the second psalm... he quoted psalm 2...

Let's see what is there is our psalm 2 vs 7..

" I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou artmy Son; this day have I begotten thee."
(Psalms 2: 7)

When Paul was preaching, his psalm 2 is our psalm 2....

He interpreted that that psalm is talking about Jesus..

look at what Jesus said :

" And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled,

which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. "
(Luke 24: 44)

Jesus acknowledged that a lot was prophesied about him in prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Habakkuk, etc)

Plus in psalms.

Glory to God.

Lets do a simple Name check. This point may not be heavy, it will still serve the purpose of this thread.

Act 18 vs 2:

There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy

with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all the Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see them,

Claudius was a ruler in Italy.. and Rome was a city in Italy as early as 70-80 AD.

At least we know that Italy is a city in Rome and Claudius was a ruler in Rome even in other historical books .
