As for those shouting Buhari's APC or Atiku PDP, we everyday Nigerians have to realise that we are at that stage in Nigeria when we select the less of two evils for any political post. We did that in 2015 when we voted Buhari over Jonathan because we believed him to be the less evil. For ordinary citizens today, we have to ask ourselves who is the less evil? We have to stop being sentimental or personal as far as politics are concerned.
Also, we have to realise that no politician whether northerner or southerner, Muslim or Christian gives any damn what happens to you or me. All they care about is money and/or power that comes with being elected. That is why a man of integrity like Buhari could threaten Nigeria with peacelessness when he was about to lose the 2011 election and Atiku could fight hard against Obasanjo's 3rd term bid when it became clear he is falling out of favour.
