I also did biometrics with my wife and kid on 13 August and I haven't heard any response yet. I discovered in the student visa thread too that a lot of applicants have similar issues with delayed processing time.

Have you heard from the visa office?

As for me am yet to hear from them since Aug 18 after biometric....

Everything you need to know is on their website, just read through and ask more specific questions that might be peculiar to your application.

hi Peeps,

Hi guys,

Please help with my question.

My mum's TRV was approved, the purpose of travel at the time we applied was for her to accompany us to Canada to settle as new PRs. However, we are about to leave and she is unable to come with us any longer because she has to take care of my dad who is ill at the moment. I am expecting a baby sometime next year, can she use the same visa to come and babysit for me then? Hope she won't have issue at the border?
Thanks.

@smikeymum. As long as her visa is still valid . She's good to go. She just have to know what to say whenever she's travelling. They really don't delay all this grown parents like that.

Please house. I submitted my application through paper since 30th of October and I have tried all my possible best to link it to the account I used for my first application but I've not been able to and I'm yet to get any message about my submission too.
Please what do you think I should do.

Good morning house
Please I submitted my documents through the paper route submission on the 30th of October but I've not been able to link up my submission with my online application. This is my second time of applying but my first application was submitted online. I've tried linking my paper submission with my first online application but it has been telling me error.
Anybody with similar issue here should please help

Good morning,

Please I need help on these question

My question is what are the documents needed for my husband and I to apply for a canadian visa as we intend to travel around March/April for an event. Can I also process this application by myself or do I need an agent (as for my US APPLICATION i didnt use any agent but did it by meself). If my husband and I would have to apply without using any agent, can someone please help with a step by step process.... the link to get the form what to do and how to go about it.

I would really appreciate a prompt and detailed response.

Thank you all

Hello, I have not been on here for awhile.

Thank you so much for your advice. God bless.

Adiahabasi:

No harm in trying, give it your best shot. Be honest and sraightforward. Being denied a US visa doesn't automatically mean you'll be denied a Canadian visa, just show your strong ties to Naija and be honest.
Seems the paper route currently has a faster processing time.

Congrats! I think it is worth the wait. But your waiting time is less than 1 month.

Still hoping to hear positive feedback from CA embassy.
