@ aworldcitizen.

Mine took exactly 11months. I suggest you send them a mail to politely complain. I did so and 3days later I got my PR. My visa officer mailed to ask if I can make it before medicals expires since it was going to expire shortly. I told him I would make it and the very next day my PR was issued.

PPR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so excited because I really wanted to announce ppr in this thread 5..it's been a long journey since I joined in thread 3...Back to the main gist;
Decision to travel: January 2018
IELTS (first Attempt) : LWSR-8|8.5|8|6.5 I requested a remark on writing and listening and my scores for both changed by .5 after 12 long weeks thanks to BC
Within this period ECA came through. I evaluated just my Masters degree.
ITA : May 23
Was heavily pregnant by this time so waited for baby's arrival before Applying.
AOR : July 7
Not sure when I passed medicals but was on IP1 till last week (29th October).
ADR: IMM5475 form ..completed and sent that back next day.
And then I woke up to the golden mail.
The wait is worth all the excitement.
Thank you thank you thank you to all my helpers here. Special thanks to those that gave their PPR stories..that kept me going. Good luck to those still in the race. We shall unite in canny land

Congratulations to all PPR recipient, we are right behind you. I am here once again with my question (s). I'm trying to prepare all documents and cross check that everything is in place for this journey. Then a thought crossed my mind about my baby's birth certificate because i recall very well the day i filled the form and the lady who issued it told me to change the name I filled in to my husband's surname rather than using my maiden name where mother's name was requested so she changedbtge form for me. So my question is
1. Being that all my credentials has my maiden name and I do not plan to do a change of name will a there be a red flag if my child's birth certificate has my first name but last name is my husband's?

2. Should I process another birth certificate for mh baby and maintain my maiden name?

3. Process a change of name certificate for myself to clarify the two surnames?

Wow!!! Seniors in the house, kudos to you guys. This process is not easy ooo. Compiling documents and making sure there are no lose ends is not an easy something. May the Almighty see us through.

I don mark all their names.

I have submitted all their names at the PPR disciplinary committee.

We may have to start by seizing their POFs grin.... (I don dey eye am mhen. That would be like almost 20m)..

then..... they will write another PPR exam and do biometrics afresh! undecided undecided especially @ontarioissauga and @Tojued tongue

dumprep:
Okay Sir. Some people even went ahead and “liked” the post where Tojued was threatening me. They’re part of this School Gate Gang, a syndicate. My suspects are:

1. Tojued (Chief Perpetrator)
2. joo2018 (accomplice)
3. ontarioissauga (accomplice)
4. mcstan18 (accomplice)
5.
6.
7.

Added to the carry over, I suggest they face Disciplinary Committee Sir.

I don't think the name difference is such a big deal, but you might not sleep well at night if you submit with that discrepancy. The easiest and neatest way out is option one. Either process a new birth certificate (pretend like you don't have one already) or go to NPC to effect change on the old one (the right thing to do actually).

I concur. That's option 2, actually.
Go to NPC office anywhere with the old one, explain that you have not done change of name and you need all your documents to align. You should be issued a new one for your child.

Bro, abeg explain the bolded well
lol one staff in exams and records hid my green file since August undecided, and my first contact in FUTO didn't even know what's happening. So it was this new contact that took me to exams and records office, I met the staff, and he quickly brought out my file from where he hid it. He demanded I find him something after giving excuses that my application has to go through a lot of vetting blah blah. I didn't pay him a dime..my contact took it from there after I reprinted my proof of payment from FUTO's portal.
