lol one staff in exams and records hid my green file since August undecided, and my first contact in FUTO didn't even know what's happening. So it was this new contact that took me to exams and records office, I met the staff, and he quickly brought out my file from where he hid it. He demanded I find him something after giving excuses that my application has to go through a lot of vetting blah blah. I didn't pay him a dime..my contact took it from there after I reprinted my proof of payment from FUTO's portal.

@ aworldcitizen.

Mine took exactly 11months. I suggest you send them a mail to politely complain. I did so and 3days later I got my PR. My visa officer mailed to ask if I can make it before medicals expires since it was going to expire shortly. I told him I would make it and the very next day my PR was issued.

Congratulations to all PPR recipient, we are right behind you. I am here once again with my question (s). I'm trying to prepare all documents and cross check that everything is in place for this journey. Then a thought crossed my mind about my baby's birth certificate because i recall very well the day i filled the form and the lady who issued it told me to change the name I filled in to my husband's surname rather than using my maiden name where mother's name was requested so she changedbtge form for me. So my question is
1. Being that all my credentials has my maiden name and I do not plan to do a change of name will a there be a red flag if my child's birth certificate has my first name but last name is my husband's?

2. Should I process another birth certificate for mh baby and maintain my maiden name?

3. Process a change of name certificate for myself to clarify the two surnames?

Wow!!! Seniors in the house, kudos to you guys. This process is not easy ooo. Compiling documents and making sure there are no lose ends is not an easy something. May the Almighty see us through.

In a similar situation. The name on my passport is a compound name but mother's name on my daughter's birth certificate is just my husband's name. I think I will just swear an affidavit to that effect.

I concur. That's option 2, actually.
Go to NPC office anywhere with the old one, explain that you have not done change of name and you need all your documents to align. You should be issued a new one for your child.

Can they really issue a new one
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by joo2018: 8:22am On Nov 08, 2018
They should. Had a similar issue. The explanation was that they can't modify the old one. Mind you (for any other person reading this), this was for an infant.

"..........................On September 14, 2010, she was offered employment at Petro-Ex Canada Inc. as a marketing and advertising specialist.

[3] Relevant to this application, on September 28, 2011, the applicant began working part-time with Apadana Caravan Tourism Company [Adapana] as a means, she says, to earn additional income to support her family.

[4] When the applicant applied on June 18, 2012, for permanent residence under the Federal Skilled Worker [FSW] category she listed the Nikyari and Chi Chast positions as her employment experience. Her evidence on this application is that, due to the nature of the Adapana employment, she did not believe that this “side” job was significant enough to disclose......................

.....................[9] On August 7, 2013, the applicant received an email from an officer at the Embassy alleging that she had misled the officer and misrepresented her employment by failing to disclose her employment with Adapana at the time of her application. The officer advised that the matter would be forwarded to his supervisor, the Program Manager, for final determination. The Applicant was given 30 days to provide additional information.

[10] On September 5, 2013, the applicant sent another letter to the Embassy explaining that she had already fulfilled the employment requirements of the FSW class at the time of the application, so she did not think it was necessary to disclose her part-time employment. She expressed that she did not intentionally withhold this information and had honestly believed that it was immaterial to her application.

[11] The Program Manager refused the application on the basis that the applicant had misrepresented her employment under subsection 40(1) of the Act and therefore did not qualify for permanent residence in Canada. The Program Manager did not believe the explanation that the applicant did not know that she had to submit her employment at Adapana since it is clear on the form that all activities must be listed. The Program Manager found that the “misrepresentation or withholding of this/these materials fact(s) induced or could have induced errors in the administration of the Act because a complete and accurate employment history is material the assessment of your eligibility and your admissibility.”......................

........................I agree with the respondent that a failure (innocent or otherwise) to supply a “truthful, complete and correct” application is material because it prevents the reviewing officer from assessing all of the applicant’s personal facts and to verify all of the information concerning an applicant to determine whether he or she is properly admissible to Canada.........

.............THIS COURT’S JUDGMENT is that the application is dismissed and no question is certified.

".................................................[7] The Fairness Letter stated that the Principal Applicant’s employment history in his TRV application did not match the history in his FSW application. In the FSW application, the Principal Applicant stated that he had been employed by “Makkar Construction Company” since October 2007, while both of his TRV applications stated that he was the owner of “Suri Housing and Construction” [SHC]...............................

.............[12] On August 20, 2015, the Officer rejected the FSW application. ...........

...............14] The Applicants also argue that declaring one’s employment history in a TRV application serves a different purpose than in an FSW application. In TRV applications, applicants provide their employment history to establish that they have ties to their home country and possess sufficient funds for a short visit.....

.......[18] Preliminarily, I agree with the Applicants’ basic proposition that temporary and permanent residency applications are, in certain aspects, fundamentally dissimilar. However, I disagree with the Applicants when it comes to the materiality of the information they provided for the two applications and the impact that any inconsistences might have. In other words, while applications for different types of status engage different considerations, it does not necessarily flow that statements made in temporary residence applications cannot affect subsequent permanent residence applications (or vice versa). In this case, I find the Officer’s concerns vis-à-vis the contradictions between the Applicants’ temporary and permanent applications to be reasonable.....................

............[28] This application for judicial review is dismissed. There are no questions for certification or costs awarded........

Good day, Please i have evaluated my BSC already, i want to send Cipm certificate for evaluation. How do i claim points for 2 or more certificate seeing that the documents will evaluated differently. Thanks.

Thanks a lot.
But the scary thing is the lack of consistency of WES evaluating ATS for some people and doing otherwise for others. More of double standard based on testimony of some people.Anyone with this experience with WES?

To be on a safe side, does IQAS evaluate the two or more certificate?. Maybe i opt for them to be guaranteed of the expected point.

Thanks.
