To be honest, the Niger delta region should be one of the most developed in the world. Unfortunately, it's not so.
However, you also cannot excuse the ineptitude of its leaders by putting all the blame on the FG.
So called militants/bunkerers too are just after their own pockets.
Many projects that some of these oil companies want to start has been twarted in their prime, because certain self proclaimed leaders will rather get money instead, and of course put it in their pockets and share a little to a few.
Its only in Nigeria that you will want to start a project to benefit the whole community, and residents of same community will ask you to grease their palms before you can build a borehole or fix a road for them. Is that not madness?

when any important personnel visits Nigeria they go to Lagos and Abuja , why not take them to other states across the country , obviously u don't have to take them to the dirty areas of course but there are tourists centers , fine places across the country u can take them too to boost and promote tourism and such .
