There is no basis for comparing. While you needed to know someone in PDP to be enrolled into sure p,Npower was open to all irrespective of any connection. In addition, there was widespread deductions of sure p allowances, Npower doesn't have that

I told people that Npower is a renamed Sure-P. Even Shehu Sani said it. The two programmes have its merits and demerits. Sure-P built some primary health centres like the one i saw in Ebonyi State 3 days ago built by Sure-P. In terms of transparency, Npower is more transparent, although they started lying with the 2017 set.

Also, people should not forget in a hurry that Jonathan brought YouWin that gave grants of 2 to 5 million Naira to entrepreneurs. I know so many people who benefited from it and even employed more people in their SMEs. That's the best way to go if poverty must be reduced to the barest minimum.

All in all, both are commendable. However, Npower is a renamed SURE-P which is more transparent than the former. Let the truth be told.

I didn't see this post before making mine sef..why I love YouWin was that it benefitted even those in the most rural of areas..anyone who didn't tap into YouWin was simply ignorant..because if farmers in rural areas could have access to the grant then those in much developed areas no get excuse..

Both are 'scams'for holding the graduates back as so far, we have not seen any plan in N-Power to accommodate the so-called trained persons after their 2years on the program just like the GIS under SURE-P.

I am not in support of any administration (past or present), but N-power was transparent,most especially the first batch.

Only people that participated in the process can tell you how important it is to them but above all the amount of money that was and is been earned by the pioneers of these programs isn't imaginable.

Sure-P and You-WIN are dubiously bankrolled under PDP that made few Nigerians to become overnight millionaires with some tribal lenses especially from the then Finance Ministry.Imagine a supervisor to a You-Win lady that won N5m, got a shock of his life only for the lady to continually change address whenever the supervision of the supposed project was called into being and worse,on the final day the lady in question appeared unclad to the supervisor! That was grandfather of corruption.That was how multimillion Nigerian money went down the drain.
