Not all phones are charged by the Nigerian Custom. By the way, who says #1000 is the fixed clearance fee. Most one will pay for the supposed clearance is #500, some guys pay #200 sef depending on the P.O.

Nonetheless, even with your abovelisted fee, it's still a good deal.

Sir, don't be too sure about the bolded. About three guys on the Xiaomi thread received their phones without customer charges last week. And unless you are overwhelmed with joy of not being charged the custom fee, the P.O officials won't mandate you to pay #1000 for clearance.

By the way, I've see people clear phones with #200.

Lol, see old member. You failed to comprehend my initial post just because you thought you knew it all. I never claimed the non-existence of the custom fee, albeit just trying to correct your false assertion that every single package get charged by the customs.

Now, I'm putting it to you again that not all packages (especially phones) attract custom charges. Those guys pick phones randomly and charge them even if you declare the package as a toy. Nevertheless, they release other phones uncharged as in the case of some peeps on the Xiaomi thread.

Lastly, guys clear phones with #200, #500 so far they aren't charged by the customs, which also depends on their locations.

I've never had any issues since I've been using AliExpress. Though it takes up to 2 weeks to 1.5 months to get your package though
