That was set under Notifications and Status under settings to display network carrier name undecided

To see if your phone sees Glo 4G LTE network, go to Mobile Networks and search manually for the network

Alot of people still go about running custom rom for no reason.

One reason I chose Xiaomi isn't because of the device. Rather it is because of MIUI.

Another reason is because of their sound system using a quality earpiece.

MIUI is the reason I stopped Rooting my devices because most of the reason I do rooting for are all present in MIUI.

Beside, after bootloader unlocked, your device can easily be unlocked by us if Mi account is present. But when the bootloader is locked, and running MIUI 10, jeeeeeez. It feels like iCloud.

ignorance... Do you even know how mi cloud services function?

Hi guys, I need advice on which phone to buy,
redmi note 6 pro
or
redmi note 5,
or
redmi s2
or
Samsung Galaxy J7 max (mediatek helio p20 4gb/32gb)

I'm really confused. I don't want to buy a phone I'll later regret. I was thinking of buying Samsung J7 max before I saw the spec of the other ones.

MIUI should be the best themed OS,it has no contender. Except maybe EMUI or Samsung experience. But then this your comment no really correct o undecided

I'm guessing J7 max because it's Samsung. Well, that's my least preferred - Design is old school, phone is too wide for a 5.7" display, Bezels are not in vogue.

Go with the Redmi Note 6 Pro global version - Best all rounder.

1st runner up - Redmi Note 5

Redmi S2 if you're low on cash but my guess is, you wouldn't have considered the others if you were low on cash.

Best custom UI would definitely be subjective.

EMUI is cool but MIUI 10 is better.
Not sure what Samsung Experience is doing rn coz last one i used was on the J7 Prime and I was neutral.

Android one is still the best.

Thanks for the quick response bro. I'm not actually low on cash, my budget is 80k. I just need a good phone that Is great in multitasking.. A phone that would not lag or heat up while gaming. . . So I shouldn't go for Samsung J7 max? And Aside battery, what other features make redmi note 6 pro better than redmi s2? The s2 is way cheaper than the redmi note 6 pro (200 difference) with almost the same spec. Finally, how can I identify the redmi note 6 pro global version? Is it written on the pack? Thanks again.

Won't say flawless but it works most of the time on the pocophone.

Had to even increase my keyboard to large coz without that navigation bar, the keyboard is not where I'm used to.

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by bigtt76(f): 7:02am On Nov 13, 2018
Please correct impression if you have sensible explanation undecided

What I gathered from it all is that rooting is not necessary to the user cos MIUI is less bloated than other devices used previously which required rooting to de-bloat it. Which to me makes a lot of sense.

When you unlock bootloader, Mi warns you no longer have access to Find My Device feature on MI Cloud. This is what the user is trying to explain comparing it to Apple's icloud which is also correct and makes sense to me.

Installing of custom rom may have its own negative side if rom builder decides to hidden a rogue app to steal your details... correct and makes sense to me.

Don't always shoot down a comment, try to correct it or bring up a friendly discussion to support your own opinion over the other.

Screenbleed looks like something all or most of the units in this batch would have.
It is uniform accross the bottom only, not like the ones you see and know that something may need fixing.
You'd have to slap a dark wall paper if it bothers you.
