I did not forget our roll call  for the month, I just wanted to give our teamie chloe00 time to heal and honour the memory of our returned Angel.

I trust we are all done with shopping, washing, ironing and packing our bags? If not, mamas please let's endeavor to round up as Dec is just around the corner.

The heaviness and sleepless nights these days, is no longer funny at all but we count it all Joy that it will be over soon in no distant time.
Has anyone noticed how fast November is going ? I sure do and I'm truly glad it is. May it all end in praise for us all In Jesus name, Amen.

Birth Story

This pregnancy was one big ass journey, from unexpected pregnancy, really bad MS, although unlike the first one,I could still eat.
I started expecting labour from the 37th week as my 1st child came at 38 weeks, and when it didn't come till exactly 41 weeks, it was a hell of a ride .
Hubby came down with typhoid and then chicken pox when I was 38/39 weeks and on the day pregnancy was 40 weeks, I got a membrane sweep, and saw that I caught the chicken pox, you cannot imagine how uncomfortable and scary it was, baby is even still on precautionary medicine that was bought for a whopping sum of 33,500!!!...story for another day sha. Was admitted for 3 days cos the pox got a bit complicated.
So, exactly 41 weeks, I noticed the contractions I had been feeling for weeks was a bit more painful and more regular, like 4 in 10 minutes, so off to the hospital with MIL , we gisted all the way to the hospital, and she stayed a bit, and then left to pick my toddler from school, then contractions just stopped, I was 4 cm, they kept observing till around 7:30 and then they decided to argument, I begged for the lowest dose of pitocin as all the stories I had been hearing didn't seem like what I wanted to go through, an hour later , nothing yet, hubby was around by now, then the nurse came to increase the dose , about 15 mins later , my hubby went to get us door and then I felt a "click" and the next thing I was screaming nonstop for 4 hours, . The nurse burst the water and swept membrane, baby had pooed, from there on, I got to heaven and back, I begged for CS cos I was scared of baby aspirating meconium, they went to get the anesthesiologist, but i delivered before there came sha.
So, I was checked again, they saw baby's head and my cervix had torn, toh, they put in the drip again and I had to push like that cos I could just bleed fatally, so after some pushes, my princess came forth, oyinbo pepe like this, she cried, then real work started ads cervix had to be stitched, I was put under, I woke up ever weak and had to feed an hungry baby, dunno how I got through that night, but God is mighty.
So, anyways, introducing Adunoluwa Deborah.
Naming was yesterday, so rice don finish o....hehehehe

good morning mummies,congratulations to new mummies and safe delivery to the waddling mums too.In respect to my previous post about the test i did which shows i have urinary infections,my doctor placed me on gent injection and ciproflox for 7days. how am done with the treatment but i noticed that was the same treatment he prescribed for me in july when i also had a miscarriage and this urinary infection was detected.it seems this treatment is not realy working for it,please ma's aside this gentamincin injections and ciproflox is there any other treatment i can take, i would not mind even herbs just to fight this once and for all i really dont want to take any chances again 3 miscarriage in a year is not a joke and same cause and same treatment. please help a sister

Go to another hospital to run, probably govt Hospital,or reputable private lab,to rerun tests.undergo scan too, take care.

I welcomed my darling princess on 11th November via VD with little tear, she weighed 3kg. It wasn’t an easy something but I thank God. Mummy and baby are doing great. Birth story coming soon!

me I've been taking cold stuff since from day one even with the cold (winter period) I still drink chilled water from fridge hubby will be like that's what helped me with nausea and still helps with saliva
