Introduction:

The Devil uses a lot of tricks to bring down the faith of the children of God...and then expose them.

The question is,
Why does the devil result to using tricks?

Does he use tricks?

Yes...

Look at this:

" Ye are of your father the devil...When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. "
(John 8: 44)


The question is, why does he have to lie?

It is because HE IS POWERLESS. Yes.

You heard it correctly.

ALL THE POWER IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH.

Nothing power is remaining anywhere... for anyone to possess.


If he has Powers, he will use it..and not result to tricks .

The devil cannot force you to sin. He manipulates... Why do you think that God pronounces Judgement on man anytime we sin,

WITHOUT CONSIDERING THAT THE DEVIL IS A FACTOR IN THE PROCESS OF sinning ?

It is because we cannot be forced by any devilish power to sin. He uses lies and tricks to make us err.

He therefore results to tricks and gimmicks and lies to deceive a child of God and take away his Faith.

Let me tell you how he does that.


All i will share with you on this thread are my personal experiences...These are not theories.

Let me share a personal experience with you.

Last year,when I was actively sharing the word of God on this platform, and people were actually

responding and all,

I had a dream on a Sunday afternoon..

I saw a man. dark and located on a platform that is very high..I was down, lower than him.

He said to me..."I am the devil...and you don't know what you are playing with....I know how to deal with someone like you"

I think I have shared this on this platform before.


Even before he introduced himself, I just knew he was the one. I don't know how, but I knew.

I told him in that dream .."Greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world "

and that was the end of the dream.


Why would he do that? threaten me? and how is this connected to this thread?

you will see it now....

Obviously, whatever I was doing on nairaland affects him...

how ? This is it;

Some people blaspheme a lot on this platform... some teach lies, some condemn Jesus, etc...

These things are what the devil use to cause unbelieve and doubt...

I ran away from Nairaland some years ago. Yes.

I ran when discovered that I was drifting away.

You heard that correctly.

But Thanks to the gentle spirit of God, who found me,

reveal himself to me through real experiences that cannot be faulted, and send me back here.

I came back stronger and better...I craved for more and decided to go to a Bible school even though I am not a pastor...

...and then booommmmm!!!!!

I was catapulted spiritually.

Now, NO BLASPHEMY, antagonistic views, or heresy can separate me from Jesus.

People share their views, antagonise the Scriptures, blaspheme Jesus and God.

They don't know that they work for the devil.

They share their views and opinions naturally,

but these things get the devil what he needs...

which is doubt and unbelieve in the children of God...

They continue until a demon is finally assigned to them to take over their lives...

They eventually continue, this time, aided....until their end comes.

That is why he appeared in my dream and threatened me...since I was spoiling his works..

just like others are also disturbing his activities on this platform.

Now, let's see how he causes doubt and unbelieve.

How does he cause doubt and unbelieve ?

1. Blasphemy.

Through blasphemy on this platform, many children of God, who are still babies in Jesus,

have slipped away.

This is it...

when you read a statement like " Is Yahweh's penis big?"

"Holy spirit fornicated with Mary"

"Jesus is a bastard son of a stupid carpenter"

...and so on..


This is how these statements work on a baby Christian..

He wonders if people can actually talk like this.

Those words are strange to him... Then, he wonders why people who make this statements

don't just drop dead as they typed those derogatory words.

Then he sees these comments over and over again, and he continues to wonder why after all this while, these people are still alive...


..and subtly, slowly, unnoticed, the devil comes in...bringing thoughts and reasons and explanations....

and his faith, begins to wane.

I have been here before... I speak from experience..

it doesn't matter how Long you have been going to church ..(I was born into Christianity )

what matters is how much of the word you carry...

AND YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH GOD...


Your personal experience is more than what you can read in the Bible...

Why?
.Because these guys attack the Bible on daily basis....

The thing I see here is that God being a merciful God don't favour outright death for straying souls and therefore ministers death gradually as a form of warning and guide to man. It is man who is too deaf or blind to see it.

A sample can be seen in Genesis 20 : 1-18. Abimelech was killed gradually here and even he didn't know it, but when he made amends and Abraham prayer over it he was restored and all the women in his life bore children again.

Most blasphemers are like that they die slowly and silently without realizing it and so mistake it to mean God is totally silent. God isn't silent really but it is the devil moving them in a wrong direction to speedy death or a shortened lifespan.

This takes me to the next point...

2. Attack on the Bible.

Another way the devil causes doubt and unbelieve is through daily attack on the Bible...


My brothers, these attacks are real, heavy and potent, IF ONE IS NOT GROUNDED IN THE WORD.

Christianity is centred on the Bible... If anyone can succeed in making you think that the Bible is false,

He has taken away your faith...you might not know it, but you are slipping off slowly.

...and just as I said earlier, the place of personal relationship with Jesus is VERY important.

His agents here (even though they don't know that they work for him) are fast to show you the INCONSISTENCIES in the scriptures...

But they will not show you the THEME that is CONSISTENT THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE...

They will tell you that Mathew, mark, Luke and John mentioned different accounts of the resurrection of Jesus...

But they will not tell you that those four books agree to Jesus miraculous birth, Jesus death, miracles, resurrection, ascension, and that he is coming back.

See, outright lie is easy to detect. But lies centred on the Truth is difficult to find out...he told eve a lie in the garden. .that they will be like God...

Though it was true, they will be like God in knowing evil and good...

But he didn't tell them the aftermath, that they will be chased out of the garden.


So, pls beware. Ground yourself in the Bible... and you are good go.

I believe evolution, newage stuff and other craps are all part of the Great deception.

We are clearly being tested.

After all this tricks of blasphemy and general attack on the Bible, these agents,

who think they are expressing their views naturally begin to look for any thread that has anything to do on believe in Jesus or God...

once a thread is being cited, they come for it and try to cause distractions.

This takes me to the third trick;

3. Unnecessary Arguments.

This is a subtle trick to engage anyone in an argument, especially whenever a reasonable

post, which can help an individual to increase Hus faith, is ongoing.

They post comments like .."Trash", " Stories that are not true " .

They may ask you a question that needs your response immediately... this is a means to distract the Op from going on with that faith building thread.

Yes, God is merciful...

If he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and sulphur, then a sinner will not escape his wrath in the flames.


2. Even if you commit sin, you will still enter the kingdom of God. Just believe in Jesus...

This is half truth.

The blood if Jesus makes us holy, and it is not by our works.. This is true...

But the scriptures say that anyone who is born of God does not sin...


Look closely at any teaching or doctrine...

don't be deceived .
