Granted Amaechi, Akpabio, Saraki, T.A Orji etc refused savings. Even though you forget that all the governors were entitled to was 26.72% for them and 20.6% for their LGA's.

What happened to the 52.68% of GEJ and Ngozi? Did they put a gun to GEJ's head and forced him to spend the FG share?

Actually, Buhari met $2B in the excess crude account and reserves of $28B. Meanwhile, GEJ left a debt of $6.8B in cash call arrears to IOC's alone yet idiots would be asking mumu questions. Now he's grown external reserves to over $40B even with low oil prices while systematically settling the cash call debts.

The states requested for their share of the money when they saw how the FG was busy gobbling up its own share. They didn't want the drunkard to eat their own with his own.

If you doubt me, what did Okonjo Iweala do with the Federal Government's share of the money?

Peter Obi..you can accuse this man of any wrongdoing but corruption is a NO!

Morally, Obi was right - saving is a good thing. But Fashola was right on legal grounds - the money belonged to the states and it was theirs to either spend or save. Knowing Nigeria, where ships disappear from ports and money is always disappearing, it would have been unwise for governors to trust the FG to save money for them. What the states should have done was collect their money and save it themselves. But, of course, they spent it - even borrowed more!

This the dumbest write-up I have ever seen. If excess crude was shared...what percentages go to FG and States ?. For your information 53% goes to FG , while 27% goes to all the states combined. The question now to you and the author of the book, where is the FG share of 53%?. If I may ask you and Dr Ngozi again, going by her account , Are you now concluding that President Jonathan was a weak President who does not have mind of his own?
