U are out of Point on the Topic bro ...

Christians and Muslims have hardly had issues up south! Neither has Hijab ever been an issue here...

For Muric to heat up the polity with an Unnecessary issue is an Invitation to Trouble here..
You’re saying nonsense!
Absolute nonsense!
Where were you when some useless CAN kicked against students wearing hijabs in Osun State ? And they told their own kids to wear choir gowns to school too.
Answer me ! Where were you?
Bye. I’m surprised that Olril18 is saying the truth this time . I thought the guy is a Christian and a fanatic from his previous comments on Oyetola threads

When we talk of intolerance I want to know what you really mean?
What do you really mean?
No doubt without stretching our brain cells we know your definition of tolerance means I become more like you and your become less like me and this is your definition of tolerance.

I can tell you for free that the most hypocritical people you will find on earth today always poking their noses into any matter that involves Muslims are the Christians.
Everything has to be about you .

You want to vet the way we talk, the way we dress, the way we live and still have the effrontery to vet the way we eat and drink .
And you open lies filled mouth with a temperament of clown telling us we are the intolerant ones.

You need to check yourselves if your brains are still functioning

If this school was a private school it would have been understood, but a public school were both faiths pay their taxes to establish and I am being dictated as a Muslim that I have to. abide by certain rules and ethics CLEARLY defined along Christiand doctrine telling me what to accept and what to reject and your 'tolerantly' lecturing me about tolerance .

The point is, the hijaab is a compulsory wear for the female Muslims enshrined in our scriptures and as for the Christians, you can always play the clown by claiming that the robs meant for your bishops and reverend are also part of your outfit when we know that in the whole of your Bible there is nothing like that.
You only come here to cry foul when the matter at hand as little or nothing to do about you.

if you people find it convenient that your mothers, daughters and sisters can go nude and become half unclad in the name of 'give what is Caesar's to Caesars and give what is God to God' then know that such atheistic rule do not apply to us.
We take everything in our religion very serious especially our modesty.

And. again you don't have to read us that asomsof us are bad and are worst we know that and we know we are no saints but we will jealously guard that which distinguish us from the rest of you in obedience to our Creator.

But you should all know this that you can keep lying to yourselves and telling us that you mean well when you actions loudly says the opposite with your brown teeth like a road side advertorial.

The bottom line is, we don't really give a rat ass of what you think of us.
Just to highlight some points in your response:
1. You can pass across point without resulting to insults
2. There is no country on earth where religious law superceeds the law of the land, religious regalias are not to be worn in educational institutions.
3. These hijab you are on about, will it enhance the thinking faculty of these young ladies? I' m yet to understand how these will help them become more innovative.
4. When you say, you don't give a rat ass of what people think about, it's like you helping them to further establish their point, you don't have to accept all opinions rather view some and toss out what you don't like.

...but seriously, can the MURIC go to Convenant University Secondary School with this fight for hijab wearing?
They won die? All Muslim attending Faith Academy and Covenant University must attend Church. Let alone Hijab fire, this people jux like fomenting trouble. I think Muric mandate is to start havoc between Yoruba Christian n Muslim. They want things happening in northern. Nigeria in southwest but they have failed because Yoruba Muslim are learned

The essence of the hijaab is to cover the body not the hair only.
Wearing a shoulder length hijaab is not the hijaab.
The hijaab is a complete body cover and whoever disputes this is an ignoramus whether a Muslim or a non Muslim.
so are you asking the female students to put it on top of their uniforms. Did you even think of the long run consequences of what you are asking for?

Like I said, I still don't give a rat ass of what you people who think .
We have never for once (as far as I know) demanded that Christians follow our line of thinking or even force them to follow the way we dress except in places were we are predominant like in the north, but in a place where there is the numbers are even on both side I strongly differ with what you are suggesting.
Your daughters, sisters and even mothers put on clothing we do not really approve of in our public space sometimes and nobody has really come out to harass or abuse them and yet, we are the intolerant ones?

As a matter of fact, if we choose to obey our creator as opposed to your way of thinking (because the constitution guarantees our right to do so) then I don't have to explain myself on the same public space we share.

If you are afraid of the way we dress that's your problem not ours.

[quote author=OfficialMURIC post=72980658]What do you mean by "international school?" Wasn't it built with task payers' money? Mind you, it was not paid by the tithe or offerings from the church. Therefore it should respects our Allah-given and also fundamental human rights. The church cannot dictate to us which school is best suited for us to enrol our children.[/quote

Wrong . Not taxpayers money . It is an international school and a PRIVATE school. You do not have to take your wards there . Its a free country
