You clearly are one of those dysfunctional men and yes I was referring to folks like your father and mother who failed in training you...look you just were too quick to justify my assertions by your lack of decorum in engaging in a meaningful discuss. These are societal issues that cut across both divide and one is not exclusively disconnect from the other but like somebody up there rightly answered a slow poke like you up there on the thread....you clearly have a shallow mind and deficit in quality thought ability.Sadly I can't stoop to your level of reasoning so how can we discuss these societal anomalies of which you are a proponent? I'm not a feminist, but don't tell ladies how to direct their home, maybe if you are busy with your home, you won't have time to nag about other ladies home, what worked for you might not work for them, also some men don't like taking charge.

This Dolapo is sounding more like a counselor than a policewoman and I'm beginning to enjoy her contributions. She would make a good home if she could apply these principles in her marriage. Feminism is not about dragging power with your husband whom God has positioned to be the head by virtue of creation. This is her(Dolapo) way of contributing to the society aside her profession.

Exactly and ladies are even more good at taking charge of their homes than men, they were born for it, I'm not against men being head of family but I don't like someone imposing their belief on others, I for instance will not allow anybody tell me how to direct my family affairs/home when I get married, seriously people should mind their business.

I really am not surprised at ur emotional outburst. Its typical of wannabe feminists. When confronted with valid enquiries, u panic &then engage in a tirade of personal attacks in order to save face. According 2u,

This is what u should have said in ur first post. But instead, u went on a sentimental journey trying 2 show that parents are bias in how they bring up their male&female children. These are ur words:

In a post shared on her IG page, Dolapo said most people who claim to be feminists have no idea of what it is all about. Actually, when you train your boy child to be a responsible man, he subsequently becomes a responsible husband and father, same goes for a well trained girl child. Imagine a society where the men are trained to play the role of good husbands and the women are trained to be good wives...

Nature has bestowed the role of family head on the men, and that of home keeper on the women...nobody is dragging that. We just hope as the women continue to respect and honor them, the men pay back with love and kindness.

while there are many definitions of feminism, the mainstream definition of feminism is against socially-constructed gender roles. In other words:

(1) Training your daughter to be a good wife is not mainstream feminism.
(2) the notion of nature bestowing family head and home keeper on men and women respectively is the anti-thesis of mainstream feminism
